similar to: No DVD Mirrors - Only Torrent

I am trying to find a DVD iso that is not a torrent, and looking through the mirrors I am unable to find one. Does anyone happen to have a mirror or repository that they know of that carries the DVD iso for direct download? I am behind a pretty strict firewall and am unable to do torrents. Well, there's so few going right now that I'm showing 38 days to get the DVD. My normal dnld from a mirror travels appx. 600Mb/sec. I'll wait until most of the U.S. goes home before I give up and use the normal download though. Here's hoping... -- Bill

I've been trying for 2 weeks to download the dvd iso torrent... Shows a ton of seeders, few leechers, but very poor performance.. (I'm correctly setup for torrents and get fast downloads normally) Only like 4% downloaded and crawling. I've tried the trackers from every one of the mirror sites. I can't use the net install because the systems I am installing are on a closed network.

Want to install CentOS 5.5 by burning the image on DVD. On the link: http://mirrors.hns.net.in/centos/5.5/isos/x86_64/, there is a list given. CentOS-5.5-x86 64-bin-DVD.torrent is in the list. Dear centos community, I was in the process of loading the latest 5.5 release of centos in a VMWARE ESX 4.1 host as my first virtual machine, suddenly while booting I got a panic error with the following on screen. Can someone point me in the right direction. This machine has 24 cores and I allocated 1 for Centos to use with 1024MB of memory. Any clues or workaround to solve this problem? Thank
