CentOS 6 / Intel CPU support
https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/intel shows mainly Xeon CPUs. What about Intel Core i7-6700 Quad-Core Skylake has the current EL6 variant support for it? Any experience? Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, LF

CentOS 6 / Intel CPU support

crashes on 2.0.16
Hey all, I upgraded some servers today from Debian Lenny to Debian Squeeze, and after the upgrade I started getting dovecot crashes. I was on 2.0.13 but got these there as well, and hoped upgrading to 2.0.16 would help. It didn't. Anyone have an idea? We have done some benchmarking tests using dovecot 2.0.12 to find the best shared filesystem for hosting many users, here I share with you the results, notice the bad perfomance of all the shared filesystems against the local storage. Is there any specific optimization/tunning on dovecot for use GFS2 on rhel6??, we have configured the director to make the user mailbox persistent in a node, we will

audio recorder compatibility
I'm shopping for a small/tiny audio recorder, the kind for recording in a class, interviews, etc... not really music, just voice. Per usual, a lot of these write their audio files in some Windows format, e.g., WMA. As a confirmed Linux guy, I'd want to offload the audio files in some format that Linux can read/play natively. I've read a sketchy suggestion that there's a Linux

Some of these applications are SaaS apps like gmail. For gmail in particular, I want dovecot to solve the following issues for me: 1. be an IMAP4/POP3 proxy in
