I once had firefox x86_64 installed (because it was the default). But that one has problems with plugins (flash, java), which are much easily solved by using the i386 version. I have re-packaged xulrunner 1.9.2.26 for CentOS 5 for use with older applications which can't be run with xulrunner 10.0.4. According to 'yum info xulrunner' version 1.9.0.19, release 1.el5_5 exists and is an available package. But when I try to update it, yum claims there is nothing to do and when I try a general update, yum complains that it cannot update firefox because it cannot find xulrunner >= 1.9.0.19-1.
