r-project.org address blacklisted by anti-spam software
Dear List: An e-mail mentioning the r-project.org address and sent to a friend at a German university was considered spam by the local spam filter. Its reasoning: the URL "r-project.org" is blacklisted at uribl.swinog.ch resp. at antispam.imp.ch. I checked the list http://antispam.imp.ch/swinog-uri-rbl.txt [caution: long list] and indeed, there it was. Can anybody explain how or

postfix and spam, I am impressed
I have had the same email address since 1997 (when microsoft stole bob.com from me thanks to network solutions...) In the early days I of course was free with my email and used it everwhere. Fast forward to 2012, some 15 years later. woof..the amount of spam sent to me has always just kept getting worse and worse. On my centos 5 server I just used sendmail with spamassassin and it killed a

Problem with manually moving maildir files between folders
dovecot --version 1.1.beta1 With previous versions of Dovecot I could manually move maildir files between folders and the index would automatically update when entering the folder with Thunderbird. However, with 1.1.beta1, I am seeing the following when entering the folder, when attempting to rebuild the indexes via Thunderbird, or when attempting to force the download of all messages in the

Type unmatched after replacing functions
Hi all, I am trying to merge functions with the same debug location by using replaceAllUsesWith(). However, this leads to type unmatched problems because the functions with the same debug location can have different parameters. An example is foo(struct A) can be compiled to foo.1(struct A.1) and foo.2(struct A.2). I have inserted CastInst to solve the problems of arguments and return values type

Should subsetting named vector return named vector including named unmatched elements?
Subsetting vector (including lists) returns the same number of elements as the subsetting vector, including unmatched elements which are reported as `NA` or `NULL` (in case of lists). Consider: ``` menu = list( ? "bacon" = "foo", ? "eggs" = "bar", ? "beans" = "baz" ? ) select = c("bacon", "eggs",

Merge data frame and keep unmatched
Hi, With two data sets, one complete and another one partial, I would like to merge them and keep the unmatched lines. The problem is that merge() dosen't keep the unmatched lines. Is there another function that I could use to merge the data frames. Example: completedf <- expand.grid(alpha=letters[1:3],beta=1:3) partdf <- data.frame( alpha= c('a','a','c'),

Stability unmatched!
I never did solve my "puzzle" as to how to kill a Linux process that seems to be deadlocked in kernel space, but thought I would report to the list that the server did manage to stay up and continue to process several thousand calls per day: ast% uptime 11:49:37 up 1000 days, 16:30, 1 user, load average: 1.00, 1.00, 1.00 ast% Since for the past four weeks I have forced my poor

automatic forced zpool import with unmatched hostid
Hi, since hostid is stored in the label, "zpool import" failed if the hostid dind''t match. Under certain circonstances (ldom failover) it means you have to manually force the zpool import while booting. With more than 80 LDOMs on a single host it will be great if we could configure the machine back to the old behavior where it didn''t failed, maybe with a /etc/sytem

Dovecot, Postfix and SMTP AUTH....
Hello. I've notice a problem with SMTP AUTH in postfix with dovecot. My configuration is based on Postgresql. I've created a function in postgresql which returns password and username and attached it to password_query. Query looks like this password_query = SELECT username_out as username, password_out as password FROM get_password(lower('%n'),lower('%d')); Problem

deprecations leading up to C8
Was reading the long list of things being deprecated in the RHEL 8 release notes t'other day, and saw my old friend sendmail on the list. I've stuck by her because I've learned how she likes to be stroked to get the best out of her, and quail at the thought of taking on a new MTA and having to learn it all all over again. But I guess I'm going to have to, soon or late, probably

[Patch v2] xen/tmem: Fix uses of unmatched __map_domain_page()
__map_domain_page() *must* be matched with an unmap_domain_page(). These five static inline functions each map a page (or two), then throw away the context needed to unmap it. Each of the changes are limited to their respective functions. In two cases, this involved replacing a large amount of pointer arithmetic with memcpy() (all callers were relying on memcpy() semantics of positive/negative

rsync name resolution weirdness...
I have 7 rsync mirrors set up, but I only see some clients hitting just 1 mirror even though the hostname resolves to 7 distinct IP addresses. On a cent 4x box running rsync 2.6.9, I straced the rsync process, and I can see the name resolution happen, and all 7 IP addresses are returned, but rsync always picks the same IP address to connect to. If I sorted all 7 of the IP addresses
