Alternative to cPanel
If you want free/foss then Virtualmin. Very good panel, good support and they have been highly consistent over the years and very receptive. CPanel has also improved massively in the last few years, well worth the price. -- Sent from the Delta quadrant using Borg technology! Alternative to cPanel
I think most of the market is moving towards AWS Elastic Beanstalk, OpenShift and Docker. It seems control panels are not really much of a thing anymore. Alternative to cPanel
Dear All, Im looking for alternative for cPanel and somehow I read that the 'cwp control web panel' (http://centos-webpanel.com) and Sentora ( http://www.sentora.ga) is the good alternative for cPanel. Is there someone using this application and what can you tell about or recommend. Thank you all.

my cpanel can not shows up after running 'latest'.
Dear my friends... I am still new in CentOS. I use CentOS 5 for my new server with cpanel. I have installed the cpanel. The steps were: 1. cd /tmp 2. wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/latest 3. sh latest The installation show a message that the cpanel installation was completed. But I can not see the cpanel login form on my server, either: "http://WWW.MYWEBSERVER.COM:2082" or:

cpanel and ices
Why does cpanel want to remove ices files? How can I prevent this from occurring? What I get is /libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libshout.so.3" not found, required by "ices" after cpanel does it nightly updates. Also if I do a SIGHUP to ices to update a playlist, do I just need to issue the command ices SIGHUP? What would be the correct format. Again, I apologize for

cPanel && Dovecot 2.x
I would like to know if dovecot 2.0.9+ can work with cPanel. I know there is a template for it in cPanel 11.34.1, but when I tried to switch to 2.0.9 (from 1.2.17), it didn't work. I didn't put too much time to test it since I only have one live system to test it with, and I have many customers hosted on this server and I cannot disrupt the service. Has anyone been able to make this work,

Open Source CPanel equivalent for CentOS?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of a solid, reliable Open Source equivalent of Cpanel/Plesk that I can run on my CentOS boxes. I've done some searching around and find a bunch of them which seem to have stopped or stalled development, but I am figuring that there has got to be a strong market / demand for something out there. Is anyone using something secure, solid and complete? I

Is there any way I can deploy cPanel web hosting control panel with Microsoft Exchange 2016 groupware behind one static public IP?
You can use bind your cPanel web server to a different port or (better) you can put your services behind a reverse proxy/load balancer. In this scenario, for web servers running on the standard ports (ie TCP 80 and 443), you can use HTTP host headers/SNI to redirect requests to the appropriate backend web server based on the domain name used. So yes, you can have a whole bunch of stuff running

Fedora Core 2, cPanel and Ruby
Hi, i have a live server with Fedora Core 2 and cpanel. I want to install Ruby 1.8.2, so i can use rails, but it has some dependencies that need to swith the computer to Fedora 3. It requires a new version of openssl, which breaks dependencies in a LOT of packages. What do you recommend me to do? Update the whole system (how?), use some kind of chroot to install the new version of ruby...?
