foo2oak-wrapper
Well...Greetings
A client bought for me a HP Color LaserJet
1525nw printer.
Installed on the local network as
192.168.1.117
A Google search brings back a number of
conflicting options. Before I ball things
up to much, I thought it best to check in
for additional advice.
The CUPS installer is complaining that it
cannot locate the foo2oak-wrapper...and
that it should be installed before

Enscript
Greetings..
Yes ENSCRIPT is a text to PostScript
conversion service.
As usual, am a bi confused on how to
implement the fit-to-page functionality.
Google resources say it is used then
proceeds to dance around the issue
Using the -f<fontname>@W/H option can one
calculate the necessary dimensions for
the print job consisting of over 200 pages?

x25 line xterm
Noted that xterm by default uses 24 lines
per window.
I have reviewed /etc/termcap looking for a
specific entry for xterm that I can edit
to change the ln#24 to ln#25 for our
application.
When I used RedHat there was an editable
option to change the number of displayable
lines as is done in putty.
Any suggestions?

Add on argument in seq()
Hi.
I have a problem with the default behavior of seq(), which gives the argument "from" when the argument length.out = 1.
This behavior is annoying when the number of value determine in length.out is not predictable.
Would it be possible to add an argument that propose the median/mean, i.e. (from + to) / 2 when length.out = 1 ? Examples:
> seq(from = 1, to = 11, length.out=1) #

Add-on argument in sample()
Hi.
I have a problem with the default behavior of sample(), which performs sample(1:x) when x is a single value.
This behavior is well explained in ?sample.
However, this behavior is annoying when the number of value is not predictable. Would it be possible to add an argument
that desactivates this and perform the sampling on a single value ? Examples:
> sample(10, size = 1, replace = FALSE)

PCI-X/PCIe RAID controller.
Afternoon,
I've got an old Dell PERC 4DC (PCI 64bit/33MHz) sitting in my home rig
and with a new board on the way that has PCI-X (133) and PCIe (x4)
slots, I was wondering what people would recommend for a cheap
hardware parallel SCSI RAID controller (no fake raid please) that is
relatively cheap but faster then the old PERC? I'm looking for
something cheap that'll do RAID-10 but

Liebert Intellislot support
Good morning,
I just had the chance this morning to get my linux box tied into our

battery.voltage: 54.60

Add on argument in seq()
Thanks for your answer.
The rational behind my proposal is why taking "from" when length.out=1, more than "to" or "NA", or " integer(0) " ?
This question seems basic. But is is not in certain situations, like when length.out = unpredictable positive integer.
And I haven't found in ?seq() the particular behavior of this function when length.out = 1.

Indeed, as Hadley says, the output of seq must always start with* from*. It
is a sequence starting at *from* and ending wherever the other arguments
cause it to end. A sequence

ipsec with ipv4 and ipv6 not working
Hello,
How do I find out what is happening to my packets thru my ipsec tunnel.
They just seem to disappear on the remote side.
I have successfully got the pings thru
when everything has an ipv6 address, but am not successful when trying
to connect two ipv4 lans across an ipv6 ipsec tunnel. All fw chains both 4 and 6
are set to ACCEPT. NAT is turned off.
