foo2oak-wrapper
Well...Greetings A client bought for me a HP Color LaserJet 1525nw printer. Installed on the local network as 192.168.1.117 A Google search brings back a number of conflicting options. Before I ball things up to much, I thought it best to check in for additional advice. The CUPS installer is complaining that it cannot locate the foo2oak-wrapper...and that it should be installed before

x25 line xterm
Noted that xterm by default uses 24 lines per window. I have reviewed /etc/termcap looking for a specific entry for xterm that I can edit to change the ln#24 to ln#25 for our application. When I used RedHat there was an editable option to change the number of displayable lines as is done in putty. Any suggestions? --Hal. -- Hal Davison Observe Goal, Set the course, Burn the map

Hi all, I have some doubts on libstdc++v3? at the g++ side the libstdc++v3 as a runtime lib , a component of the g++, but at the llvm, there are no libstdc++v3 ? are llvm leave the libstc++v3 to the front-end(clang or llvm-gcc?). another problem is if I compile libstdc++v3 as byte-code (llvm-IR), just say libstdc++v3.bc , and link libstdc++v3.bc with programs, are this action can

dyn.load problem under linux
Dear HelpeRs, I am trying to use an thirdy-part library under Linux (the library is developed both for Windows and for Linux). I have tried different solutions (with the library developer) but we are not able to solve the problem. So I try to ask for your help in order to escape from the full stop where we are at the moment. The problem looks to depend on the dyn.load function (technical

The clang for centos6 are need GLIBC_2.14, but we only have GLIB 2.12 by default.
It is possible to statically link against libstdc++, yes. I don't quite know all the pieces to the recipe in order to get that to work. It would require changes to the release script in order to get those configuration changes all the way through the third phase build. I don't believe any other tarball release does this, so it would at least be an unconventional release. On Wed, Jun

Sorry if I was unclear, I have no problems building clang against a newer gcc for my own purpose. But it doesn't make sense to provide a release binary for clang that's hosted on llvm.org that's ostensibly for "centos6" when it would really be bound to "centos6 plus the SCLO mirror which has the dependency for a newer libstdc++". The glibc 2.14 dependency is a

Trying to install R on Lucid Lynx
Hi: I installed Lucid Lynx amd64 on my system today, dual booted with Win 7. I've managed to install several packages through the Ubuntu Software Center with success and also installed texlive. Alas, installing my favorite software has not been so joyful. I went through the last few months of posts in this group to find something similar, but to no avail. After a couple of false starts, I

Ok, I got. You should install libstdc++44-devel, too. Please try to install gcc44-c++ and libstdc++44-devel. Note: gcc44-c++ depends on gcc44, but gcc44-c++ and libstdc++44-devel are independent each other, at least on my host, CentOS5. ...Takumi 2012/7/15 Sitvanit Ruah <RUAH at il.ibm.com>: > In order to isolate the problem I am now running on a machine whose only > installation
