How to view djvu files?
Greetings to everyone!
On Fedora I used to use djvulibre package for djvu files, but I cannot seem to find this in any CentOS repositores out there. Google also does not help, nor searching list archives. :-(
I have found the .rpm file for RHEL 4, but when I tried to install it (hoping that it just might work) rpm refused to install with the error:
file /usr/share/mimelnk/image/x-djvu.desktop

Text-Extraction Libraries for Omindex
This is a list with some libraries that I have been looking at.
The idea is to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of adding some of
these libraries to Xapian.
If anyone knows another library that could be add to the list it would be
great!

Re: [Bug #27842] [regression?] hang with 2.6.37 on a BTRFS test machine
Added linux-btrfs and Helmut Hullen, who seemed to experience hangs on a
T23 with BTRFS as well, to Cc.

xhci passthrough
Hi Konrad,
Due to a 2.6.37-merge-window kernel now being able to boot under Xen i was able to test my xhci controller under dom0 which i previously couldn''t.
The results:
A) 2.6.37-merge-window kernel baremetal: Videograbbing while doing 20 iterations of make -j6 of kernel works.
B) Xen + 2.6.37-merge-window kernel as Dom0: Videograbbing while doing 20 iterations of make -j6 of kernel

Let's talk about HTTPS Everywhere
Ok. It's a Firefox Add-on:
https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere
Questions:
1) But: Why can't i find it on the offical Firefox Add-ons site?: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
2) Did anyone audited the "HTTPS Everywhere" code?
3) Can someone trust this Add-on? Is it safe to install/use?
4) If it's so great why isn't it more prevalent?

Building btrfs as a dkms module on Debian
Hi everyone. I was trying to test a more recent version of btrfs on my current kernel (2.6.37) using dkms, without success.
I followed these instructions:
https://btrfs.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/Btrfs_source_repositories
- cloned the repo
- symlinked to /usr/src/btrfs-git
- patched version.sh:
Please note version.sh requires bash (better to change the shebang or fix the script).

dom0 nouvueau on 2.6.37 invokes OOM killer
hi,
With XEN enabled in mainline kernel 2.6.37 configured for nouveau,
X failed with familiar symptoms. Found drm-tree did not have the
TTM_MEMTYPE_FLAG_NEEDS_IOREMAP or the drm_scatter patches.
Applied these patches (generated from my working 2.6.32.18 xen kernel
with 2.6.35.4 drm-tree backported) to the 2.6.37 mainline kernel.
Now starting X in dom0 invokes the OOM killer!
Bare boot works, as

[GIT PULL net-next-2.6] vhost-net patchset for 2.6.37
It looks like it was a quiet cycle for vhost-net:
probably because most of energy was spent on bugfixes
that went in for 2.6.36.
People are working on multiqueue, tracing but I'm not
sure it'll get done in time for 2.6.37 - so here's
a tree with a single patch that helps windows guests
which we definitely want in the next kernel.
Please merge for 2.6.37.
Thanks!

2.6.37 dom0 under Xen 4.1 clocksource not working
When booting 2.6.37 (from kernel.org) under Xen 4.1, there are
apparently issues with timer interrupts being delivered to the dom0.
Repeatedly causing an interrupt (for example, the ACPI power button) will
allow the system to boot, as does adding "clocksource=jiffies" to the
kernel command line. This is only present under Xen, not when booting the
same kernel on real hardware.
When boot

support for Broadcom BCM4313
Hello,
The support for Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g/n Wireless is
native in the kernel since 2.6.37 (module brcm80211, renamed brcmsmac
since 2.6.39).
But is it backported to some kernel available for CentOS ?
Thanks,

System reboots after "Scrubbing free RAM" Xen 4.0.1 linux 2.6.37-rc3
Hi Everyone
I have sorted out the initial issues I''ve had and decided to give Xen
another go.
I''m trying to run Xen using kernel 2.6.37-rc3 (previous attempt with rc1
failed, and when I gave it a second go, rc3 was already out).
As previously, 2.6.37-rc3 boots fine natively. 2.6.32 boots natively and
under Xen as dom0, but I have reservations against running 2.6.32,

flush-btrfs-1 hangs when building openwrt
Hi,
Since update to 2.6.37 I can''t build openwrt on my btrfs buildroot anymore.
I''m not sure if this is related to the other flush-btrfs-1 thread.
plenty of diskspace is free:
/dev/mapper/cruor-build
97G 68G 27G 73% /opt/build
It always hangs when openwrt builds the ext4 image and runs tune2fs on it.

[BUG?] There is a possibility that 'i_ino' overflows
Hi,
In btrfs, inode number is increased each time a new file or directory
is made.
Therefore, if the making deletion of the file is repeated, value of
''i_ino'' increases rapidly.
For example, inode number changes as follows.
$ touch foo
$ ls -i foo
266 foo
$ rm foo
$ touch bar
$ ls -i bar
267 bar
$
And then, length of ''i_ino'' and

Btrfs_truncate ?
Hi list
This happened when running an iozone test over ceph, it was doing lots of random reads.
I have no idea how to properly interpret this, I should find it out. Let me know if you need something else.
Thanks!
