getting R-readable data , not pictures, from US OTS "data" pages
Does anyone know offhand if the OTS has an FTP site or other pages
off in a corner somewhere to make data downloading and integration with
R easy? They have mailing lists to which you can subscribe that announce new
data but then you get these things like PDF files
with tables of numbers and the PR releases don't obviously
have links to related csv or other data files. For example,

spreadsheet addiction
There's a new page on the Burns Statistics website
http://www.burns-stat.com/pages/Tutor/spreadsheet_addiction.html
that looks at spreadsheets from a quality assurance perspective. It
presents R as a suitable alternative to spreadsheets. Also there are
several specific problems with Excel that are highlighted, including
the status of statistical functionality in Excel.

Does anyone have flow charts or digit/key cards for some of the more popular voicemail systems out there?

spa3000
I'm trying to get working a spa3000 with asterisk. My problem is I
cant get wroking the incomming calls (I installed the lastest
firmware). My problem is asterisk is rejecting the authentication from
the spa3000. Asterisk answers forbidden (SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden) and I
think I placed the username and password correctly...
Sip.conf says this:

Anyone tried OTSJuke DJ??
I have a radio station, presently running WIN98 and OTSJuke DJ automation
software. That's all the machine does is churn out music and ID's 24/7. As
for existing DJ programs, I like OTS the best and went ahead and purchased
it.
I'd like to know if anyone has tried running it under Wine? If so, how did
it run?
TIA

Apologies for sending again, I did not include the correct perl grep the

guide to good mocking?
Hi all - does anyone know of a good blog post or wiki or something
with a good guide to mocking? I''ve got some degree of responsibility
for people who are creating mocks. I''m supposed to actually be telling
them the best way to do it.
In some cases we have code with like a bazillion mock(:x) statements
and it''s kind of out of control. I have an idea how the specs should
