Smart cards, mostly solved
So, it *seems* to be working, pretty much. I needed to install
opensc, openct pcsc-lite, pcsc-lite-openct, and ctapi-common will be
installed as a dependency.
I *removed* coolkey and esc, which depended on it. 100% of the time, they
misidentifed the new/current US federal ID PIV-II cards as coolkey cards,
and popped up this "phone home" window, then a "manage smartcards"

Firefox fails to authenticate .mil sites with New DoD CAC
I thought DoD used RHEL and not Centos, or did Centos did approved
DADEMS recently?

Firefox fails to authenticate .mil sites with New DoD CAC
Can anyone help with getting the new DoD CACs (Smart Card) to work in
CentOS 6.6? I don't use it for console logins, only for email and .mil
web sites.
I recently had to get a new DoD CAC (Smart Card) when one of the
buildings I work in upgraded their security system. My old CAC was
working fine prior to this for signing and encrypting email and for
authenticating to various DoD (.mil) sites

coolkey
anyone familiar with coolkey, an interface for smartcards? apparently
its built into centos5, but I don't seem to see it for centos4, and i
need to support both (actually, we have a lot more c4 systems in
production than 5)...
does anyone know offhand where to find el4 RPMs for this and its related
packages (pcsc-lite, etc) ?

Thanks on 6.5
Hey, Johnny et al,
Thanks for the hard work, and quick followup to upstream. What's
especially nice for us, and for other folks using CentOS at US federal
gov't agencies, is that finally, the stock ssh-agent works seamlessly
with pkcs11 and PIV/CAC cards, which is being required across the
board. We'd been building our own openssh pieces... (and it was my
manager that pushed that

Hi all,
as an example of SSP-Lite middleware, I modified the
OpenSSH-2.9p2 sources to support Smart Cards.

when normal OpenSSL RSA operations are invoked
by OpenSSH.
I couldn't embed the module as I wanted into the OpenSSH
sources because of the

Sending signals to current R process from R running under MS Windows (c.f. Esc)
I am using RGtk2 for a simple GUI (rattle).
I start rattle from the RGui and I remain able to interact with the
RGui while rattle runs.
Under MS/Windows, when rattle has initiated some other underlying R
command the rattle GUI remains responsive (unlike under GNU/Linux
where it is not responsive until the underlying command completes).
I can interrupt the running command with a press of the Esc
