Help with plot(augPred()) plot(comparePred()) in nlme
Dear r-helpers, When I issue the commands plot(augPred(mcc.lme, primary = ~ mcc$age, length.out = 2, level = c (0, 1))) or plot(comparePred(mcc1.lis, mcc.lme, primary = ~ mcc$age, length.out = 2), layout = c(4, 3))) no lines are drawn. But fm1 <- lme(Orthodont) plot(augPred(fm1, level = 0:1, length.out = 2)) does plot lines. augPred() and comparePredict() seem to be working correctly, as

Can plot(augPred()) be used with objects that are not groupedData?
Dear Friends, Is there a workaround to this problem or must the object plotted by plot(augPred(object, ...)) be a grouped object? score <- c(108, 103, 96, 84, 118, 110, 129, 90, 84, 96, 105, 113, 96, 117, 107, 85, 125, 107, 128, 84, 104, 100, 114, 117, 110, 127, 106, 92, 125, 96, 123, 101, 100, 103, 105, 132, 122, 133, 107, 99, 116, 91, 128, 113, 88, 105, 112, 130) mcc

RODBC and Oracle
I just joined and though I did quickly read the posting guide it is quite possible not going to be a perfect posting. For one I tried to figure out how to reply to an existing message on the topic. I gave up but figured I keep at least the same subject. In a gist I get an empty data frame after issuing the following select query from R 2.9.1 to Oracle 10.2.0.1 64bit via RODBC 1.3 and Oracle 11g

Samba PDC w/ LDAP & Mass Adding Users
Hi, I am running into a bit of a strange problem. I have a Perl script that creates usernames for mass-adding users. This script used to use the standard Linux 'adduser' command to add users to the system. I am now switching everything over to LDAP, including Samba. I have modified the custom Perl script to add users in bulk for smbldap-tools. system("smbldap_tools/smbldap-useradd -a

4.3.11-Ubuntu fail to add DC to a AD domain
Hi! I want to get down to the root cause of the issue I am having with my new DC in my domain. I have followed some tutorials on the internet and basically do not get the results. I have 1 old DC, that is providing the AD domain for the whole local network. I wanted to add another one. Both are Ubuntus 16.04, fully updated. I have followed this

To estimate the covariance matrix of e you could use the sample covariance matrix of the residuals. If desired, use its cholesky decomposition to transform to make the error approximately uncorrelated, then refit (and back-transform the coefficient matrix). Stacking the columns of Y and replicating X won't do what you write; it forces each univariate regression to have the same coefficients.

Can't find symbol from llvm backend
Hi, I am new to llvm. I create a global variable called "test_llvm_var" in the front end function pass like this: new GlobalVariable(*m, tmp->getType(), true, llvm::GlobalValue::ExternalLinkage, tmp, "test_llvm_var"); where tmp is a function. Then I tried to access this global variable in the back end MachineFunctionPass like this: MCContext&

Well, last night, my box was hit again.. same symptoms: All attempts to connect remotely receive a connection, but a login prompt never comes up. When I went to the console and turned on the monitor, I had the login prompt, but written on to the screen was the message IPMASQ: Reverse ICMP: Checksum error from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx So, on this occasion, I thought I would post a summary of the

Discussion: Spam on R-help
[re-sending this one since it apparently didn't get through yesterday] Hi Folks, I just had a look at the r-help archive for the still-young month of August, and happened to notice that out of 49 postings there, 20 were assorted spam of all-too-familiar types. I'm wondering (discussion point) whether this might suggest that the list should adopt a more restrictive policy. Apparently, as

Centos 5.5, not booting latest kernel but older one instead
I've been going along not noticing things happening right under my nose. so imagine my surprise when I discovered last night that my Centos 5 box has installed multiple new kernels over the last few months, as updates come out, and IT IS NOT BOOTING THE NEWST ONE. grub.conf says to boot kernel 0, and 0 is the newest one. but the one it actually boots is 6 or 8 down the list (clearly I've
