Changing the name of the "R" process in top
Hi all, Perhaps this is more of a unix question, but I'll give it a try here. I am running 9 different R processes at the same time (called from a shell script using R CMD BATCH). When I use the top program to monitor how they are doing, it is impossible to tell which R process is related to which R script. Is there a way to rename a specific instantiation of an R process in top with

profiler and loops
Hello, (This is follow up from this thread: http://www.nabble.com/execution-time-of-.packages-td22304833.html but with a different focus) I am often confused by the result of the profiler, when a loop is involved. Consider these two scripts: script1: Rprof( ) x <- numeric( ) for( i in 1:10000){ x <- c( x, rnorm(10) ) } Rprof( NULL ) print( summaryRprof( ) ) script2:

Configuration
Is there any kind of Configuration guide available? I've been trying to get a SIP Soft phone to work and all I get is: NOTICE[81926]: File chan_sip.c Line 4716 handle_request): Registration from '<sip:xxx@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx> failed for 'yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy' I know I'm missing something in the configuration. But don't know much about * yet. Thanks, Kyle --------------

Rsync and full path of filenames
Hi, I have a bit of a tricky question about rsync. Let's say I want to backup a bunch of configuration files with rsync, in a script. What I don't want to do : a full snapshot of /etc. What I want to do : backup only those files I need, in an otherwise empty directory tree. In my script, I'd begin with a list of the files I effectively want to backup. Something like :

Why is Sieve trying to re-compile global scripts?
I have some global scripts that were running nicely. Then I opened one in an editor and (probably, but not 100% sure) mindlessly saved the file, even though I hadn't made any changes. Shortly after, Sieve errors started showing in the log: Error: 4k5JA74R/1TlIwABG/SpMA: sieve: binary save: failed to create temporary file: open(/usr/local/var/dovecot/sieve/script2.svbin.example.com.4139.)

Sieve users script problem.
I am using Dovecot 2.1.9 which seems to solve older bug in sieve. Now I have another problem with users scripts. I want dovecot to run users scripts but it seems to not even see them. Dovecot runs the default sieve script from home dir but wont see the sieve scripts in the sieve subdirectory and some logs: Nov 10 18:35:54 lda(user at domain.local): Debug: Quota root: name=User quota

Custom ISO With Post Installation Scripts
Dear All I have been working on a custom ISO with kickstart and a couple of post installation scripts and would like to have the script run before the login prompt. The custom ISO works; however, the scripts fails because some of the services, e.g. mariadb does not start before the server installation has been completed and rebooted; therefore, I have been putting the scripts in /etc/profile.d/

[PATCH] builder, sysprep: initialise the random generator
virt-builder and virt-sysprep may make use of Common_utils.string_random8 (which uses Random.int) for constructing temporary paths; not initialising the random generator means that every invocation will reuse the same name used previously (!). Thus just call Random.self_init, just like virt-sparsify already does. Expand the test-virt-sysprep-script.sh test to ensure that virt-sysprep is not
