other repositories question
Hello. I would like to know how other repositories than the official ones for CentOS 4 affect an update of a package if a package is present in both repositories. Will yum install the package that it finds having the highest version number ? and if so, is there a mean to tell yum that we would like to keep the preference to one repository instead of the highest version number on a possibly

Small correction in CentOSPlus (AdditionalResources/Repositories/CentOSPlus)
Hi, Small correction there. Example 4 of section 2 (how to use XFS with CentOSPlus kernel) says you should use this configuration line in [centosplus] section of yum: includepkgs=kernel* xfs* dmapi* However, the XFS module's package name is kmod-xfs*, so I believe it should actually be: includepkgs=kernel* kmod-xfs* xfs* dmapi* I did this on a system of mine, and in the first case it did

Obtaining the name of the host in environment.rb
Hi, For testing purposes, we deploy our app on different PCs. In the environment.rb file , we would like to set a constant to the name and port of the host. Is there a function that we can call to obtain the host and port when called from environment.rb? Ideally we want something like SVR=host_and_port() Remember, we cannot use ActionController#host_with_port because we are not in an action.

Obtaining p-values for coefficients from LRM function (package Design)
Dear all, I'm using the lrm function from the package "Design", and I want to extract the p-values from the results of that function. Given an lrm object constructed as follows : fit <- lrm(Y~(X1+X2+X3+X4+X5+X6+X7)^2, data=dataset) I need the p-values for the coefficients printed by calling "fit". fit$coef (gives a list of only the coefficients) fit$pval, fit$p,

This does not help: ############################## library (vegan) #defining the target matrix: a= cbind (c (1,2,3,4), c( 10,12,14,16)) #defining the matrix to be rotated: b= a; b[,2]= c(9,11,15,16) c=procrustes (a,b); g=fitted (c) # trying to get to the procrustes matrices: d= t

Obtaining IP address of a DomU
Hi Is there anyway to get the IP address of the DomU through xml-rpc ? OR any other means ? Also, I tried using the ''IP'' directive and ''extra'' param to specify IP for a domU. But it still seems to use the dhcp. Can anyone throw bit light on how this works (are these passed as kernel args) ? or have a working example of setting ip / gateway/ netmask

Obtaining actual match count if using set_collapse_key()
Greets, Is it possible to obtain the actual match count if you're using set_collapse_key()? ie, the total count *before* the collapsing occurs (without using get_mset()). Alternatively, will MSet::get_matches_estimated() return the true - pre-collapse - count, or will it also be affected by collapsing? Thanks Henry
