virtual users, mailer daemon send mails to non existant recipient and dovecot store it
Hello,
Sometime when we receive a spam or virus that is detected as it, mailer
daemon send a reply to the sender to inform that the message is a spam
or content viruses.
The problem is that the sender of the spam as something like
voicemail at ourdomain.fr ( the user voicemail doesn't exist in our database )
And sometimes dovecot create the directory and store the reply 's mail...

auth_krb5_keytab ignored ?
Hi list,
i noticed that when doing imap gssapi authentication with kerberos,
dovecot (here 2.1.7) always searches /etc/krb5.keytab although i have
auth_krb5_keytab = /etc/mail3.krb5.keytab in my etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
and doveconf -n also show this setting. If i combine the keytabs in
krb5.keytab it works. Is there another location where i should put my
configuration regarding gssapi/kerberos ?

syncing imap servers with imapsync
hello list,
I am attempting to sync two imap servers using the imapsync perl script. It seems handy and easy.
Here's what happens when I try to do this:

trying to authenticate postfix against Dovecot 2.3.4.1 passwd-file, using lmtp
Sorry for all the notes;
I'm trying to have postfix 3.4.8, trying to authenticate postfix against
Dovecot 2.3.4.1 passwd-file, using lmtp.
Not sure if I'm failing because of a smtp failure or I'm not getting
authenticated by dovecot.

Why do you add dummy.domain.com:80 here as the match is done on the

ntlm_auth with freeradius
Hello All,
After updating to sernet-samba-4.6.4, ntlm_auth doesn't appear to work for me with challenge and nt-responses.
I'm using ntlm_auth in freeradius to authenticate my wifi users against my AD. In sernet-samba-4.2.14 it was working perfectly. My freeradius server is an AD Member, and I've got two other sernet-samba-4.6.4 AD DC's.

Outlook 2013/2010 nightmare #2
Hi All and my sincere thanks to Jakob and Joseph for your responses.
I got around the nightmare for this site but it is far from satisfactory
and given both Thunderbird, Roundcube and the Android e-mail client work
perfectly as expected, this following links comments enforce what I
experienced over the weekend:

Asterisk 1.4.6 Fedora 7 configure error
Hi guys
I'm at a loss in getting ./configure to complete successfully with asterisk 1.4.6 on
Fedora 7 x86_64, as it complains about no termcap support, even though it is installed
(see below).
Any ideas where to go next?

Outlook 2013/2010 nightmare #2
Yes Eric,
Outlook also has a declaration that as of either version 2010 or 2013,
they no longer download IMAP headers, they download the whole message -
thank God for faster Internet connections these days - could you imagine
that in the older dialup days? Still it is a waste of bandwidth and disk
space to do this.
I am so tired of how they claim to use the RFC and indicate they are

Fw: ntlm_auth with freeradius
Edit:
When running 'winbindd -SFd5', I see a little more of the problem after I run my two ntlm_auth commands one after the other. I believe the 'crap' part is an acronym for 'Challenge Response Authentication Protocol', so why would it be failing?
