How to find out if the installed NIC supports SR-IOV?
Hi,
I am working with a westemere based server. I need to find out if the NIC
installed there supports SR-IOV - what would be the best way to determine
that?

[Kernel 3.1.5] [OCFS2] After many write/delete on ocfs2 both servers in cluster kernel oops
+cc: ocfs2-devel, sunil
Marek,
Thanks for the detailed report! Can I trouble you to file a bug
at http://oss.oracle.com/bugzilla ... oh, is that your report
http://oss.oracle.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1339?
This looks like a deadlock of some sort. I don't think your
hardware configuration really matters here. We'll keep looking into it.

Loss of Ethernet adaptor
This is a return to an issue I first raised back in June. We had a similar
occurrence in September while I was away and so I am revisiting the entire
matter.

Assistance in tracking a kernel/nouveau error
Greetings,
I am resending this as it doesn't appear in the archives and no one
responded...maybe it got routed to /dev/null or something :-)
I have asked this question the Scientific Linux mailing list (a few
months ago) and got the suggestion I talk to the kernel guys. I pinged a
kernel guy I know, and his suggestion was to ask the Nouveau list. So
here I am. :-)

MSI badness in xen-unstable
Hi,
I''ve been trying to boot stefano''s minimal dom0 kernel from
git://xenbits.xen.org/people/sstabellini/linux-pvhvm.git
2.6.36-rc1-initial-domain-v2+pat
On xen-unstable, I get the following WARN_ON()''s from Xen when bringing
up the NIC''s, then the machine hangs forever when trying to login either
over serial or NIC.

Perhaps I wasn't clear that this happens on every boot and is a
regression from 3.8
I'd be happy to help resolve this but time is of the essence; it would
be a shame to have to revert all of this for 3.9

mulitple OpenGL contexts in single window
Hi,
I have a GTKmm application that uses two separate OpenGL widgets
within the same window. When running under Compiz, I am getting some
strange behaviour. Everything is fine when it is disabled.
Essentially what happens is that any resize of the widgets causes X to
hang for a second or two. After that, one of the OpenGL windows no
longer gets properly updated.
I've attached a

Audio weirdness on CentOS 6.2 with flash?
Hi List,
I have an ASUS G73S laptop with our favorite OS installed and all
up-to-date.
Sound has always "just worked"
When I use the Preferences>Sound app I can setup the hardware, input,
output and was overall very impressed.
One can check each speaker and the laptop has a front left and right and
also has a bass speaker which seems to be connected to the left rear.

XEN 4.1.2+Centos 6.2+Kernel 3.X
Hey hope this opne is a "make senser".
Has anyone tried the "Subject line" combo?, I''ve compiled a dozen src.rpm
kernel 3.0 and 3.1 packages with no luck to try native upstream Dom0 kernel
support with no success, just a kernel oops and constant reboots.
I followed Fedora''s wiki on building a custom kernel, even used F16''s
.config which also was a
