Doubts about the Monitoring command
Hi all, I have some doubts concerning the way asterisk records calls using the Monitor command. I ´ve done some jitter and packet loss tests in a such way that, from asterisk 1, I send a file to asterisk 2 and record this file in asterisk 2 using the Monitor command. To simulate the jitter and packet loss, I use the Cloud software, so with that one, I can "control" the jitter and

Polycom IP 500 - Quality Issues
Hello, We have 15 Soundpoint IP 500 phones and recently call quality has deteriorated. On some calls there is a static-buzzing of sorts that occurs when users talk. It can be picked up on SIP-SIP calls and SIP-ZAPTEL (Channel BANK<<-T100P). It basically sounds really weird whenever someone talks, it sounds like a bee buzzing or something. Very hard to explain. Also, there will be echo

RFC: Introducing an LLVM Community Code of Conduct
I like the NCoC approach, actually. I think the community can manage itself quite well. Echoing a prior response---if this community really needs a set of rules, then it has already deteriorated. We are not there and it doesn't look like we are going in that direction. The FreeBSD CoC also looks reasonable, and if any CoC is needed, I find this one more appealing. -Krzysztof On

State of the gluster project
Hi, Red Hat Gluster Storage is EOL, Red Hat moved Gluster devs to other projects, so Gluster doesn't get much attention. From my experience, it has deteriorated since about version 9.0, and we're migrating to alternatives. /Z On Fri, 27 Oct 2023 at 10:29, Marcus Peders?n <marcus.pedersen at slu.se> wrote: > Hi all, > I just have a general thought about the gluster >

coxph() and survfit()
Dear All, I have a question regarding the output of survfit() when I supply a Cox model. Lets say for example: library(survival) fit <- coxph(Surv(time, status == 2) ~ factor(spiders), data = pbc) fit # HR for spiders is significant newdata <- data.frame(spiders = factor(0:1)) sf <- survfit(fit, newdata = newdata) sum.sf <- summary(sfit, times = c(2000, 2500, 3000)) # survival

Multpiple sound cards with ices client?
I was wondering is it possible to use the ices client with more that one soundcard under Centos Linux? I only want to stream one mono audio feed to icecast, but am already using the Line input of my sound card for something else, and the mic input might be far to sensitive. lme with nested factor and random effect
Hello all, I'm having difficulty with setting up a mixed model using lme in the nlme package. To summarize my study, I am testing for effects of ornamentation on foraging behavior of wolf spiders. I tested spiders at two different ages (penultimate vs. mature) and of two different phenotypes (one species tested lacks ornamentation throughout life [non-ornamented males] while the other

mindrot.org TMDA sending multiple auto-responder spams
Hi, It is a shame I feel obliged to write this email. I sent a single email with a possible bug in it, asking if it was working in a newer release. I got 3 spam emails from mindrot.org. Two asking me to confirm, and then when I was forced to confirm I got another auto-responder spam. If I had wanted the 3rd spam I would have set "return receipt". I got this (below) auto-responder
