KTorrent on CentOS 5.5 does not exist
Greetings guys.
What repo do I need to install to be able to install ktorrent?
I have CentOS 5.5 however, when attempting to download a distro for use
on a virtual machine, which only seems to provide a torrent, I am
unable to locate any torrent clients, and yum installation fails for
ktorrent.
I thought that ktorrent was associated with kde so why isn't it
installed by default?
Thanks.

hostname on centos 7.1
Greetings everyone.
I have some CentOS 7 VMs running on the system for which I just made the inquiry about the kworker problem, and I was able to institute immediate change of hostname by updating the /etc/hostname file.
I have network manager running on the host, as well, and it also has the name populated in this file.
When I make the change in /etc/hostname, it takes immediate effect, and

Centos 7 kworker uses 100% of single core on mulit-core processor usage inquiry
Greetings again everyone.
Can someone please respond to this?
I am not sure what is causing this issue, however, others seem to have experienced it in the past.
Could this be caused by the processor being damaged?
Nothing has changed on the system, except for the heat warning shutoff when the water cooler died, and the system was not restarted until the new one was installed.
Any input

kworker 100% of single core on mulit-core processor usage inquiry
Greetings everyone.
I am experiencing the kworker issue where a kworker is using 100% of a given core.
This behavior was only observed after having installed a new water cooler, to replace a cooler that had died. (Sealed closed loop device from Corsair)
The processor is staying around 40 degrees celsius as reported by the MB UEFI interface. (ksysguard shows between 29 degrees and 30 degrees,

Xen Install manager won't let me install anything.
Greetings all.
I am attempting to install dom-u guests on a vanilla install of Centos
5.6. I am attempting to use the Xen Manager and it 1) won't let me
choose ANYTHING but network install, which is quite odd to say the
least, and 2) won't let my freebsd install iso complete. I am a novice
with Xen, however, it doesn't make sense even in the most minimally
supported system that

Simple CDRs w/Asterisk/OpenSER.
Suggestions on how to use Asterisk to collect CDRs from a OpenSER-based
proxy / call routing setup? I need to get simple CDRs; not for detailed
settlement/rating, but just for reconciliation with an ultimate TDM
carrier just to make sure we only get billed for what we're actually
using.
I'd use the often-heralded approach of dumping a call from OpenSER into
Asterisk and having it

using vbox driver hypervisor support
Hi,
I installed Libvirt. We need virtualbox support for libvirt. But we are
unable to see the vbox option in virt-manager. How we can find vbox
hypervisor driver?
And also we already compiled libvirt with vbox option.(--with-vbox). But
that didn't work. And also when we are creating the new virtual machine
through virt-manager we are getting the following error:

how can I use libvirt to connect vbox
Hi.
I want to connect hypervisor vbox using command of "virsh connect vbox:///session".
But there is an error occurred:
[root@vbox ~]# virsh connect vbox:///session

error: internal error unable to initialize VirtualBox driver API
And my os is Fedora 19. The VirtualBox is 4.3. Some other info is there:

Okay, just installed libvirt from today's git on two Ubuntu systems. The
first one went fine (except for continuation of the problem that virsh and
virt-manager cannot connect to 0.8.3 systems that's been there in the 0.9.x
libvirts) ... but on the second, after install, "virsh list --all" presents
nothing. And:

Hi Madushan
Maybe I was not clear ?. After SIP negotiation and SDP set up on the VoiceMail Server ?.
Is there a file to specify a MGw (the machine that deliver RTP packages to end user)?

How to copy a system?
Is there a standard way of copying a working system
from one machine to another with different partitions?
I have two CentOS-5.6 machines, say A and B,
and I thought I would copy / on sdb10 on machine A
to an unused partition sda7 on machine B with rsync.
I made the appropriate changes to /etc/fstab and grub.conf ,
as well as /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts ,
but found that there were innumerable

I'm experiencing weird things with the vbox driver when using multiple threads.

Centos bug 15570 - Not just a VBOX bug, can also reproduce on direct hardware install
Ran into this rather frustrating bug when working with VBOX on a Windows 10
host. It should come as no surprise that I would hit this bug when
installing CentOS, and also with RHEL 7 Server with GUI (since you get the
same kernel). Based on information from your bug list, I was fortunately
able to workaround the trouble with:
