Apache in chroot reporting every client is 16.0.0.0
Not sure where to start on this. I went to examine a log file today and noticed a password protected internal file was being accessed from 16.0.0.0. Upon further review every log entry has the same IP. Accessing apache from localhost also reports 16.0.0.0. Google is not being my friend right now, any advice? Kernel: 2.6.9-89.0.29.Elsmp In the chroot: httpd-suexec-2.0.52-41.ent.7.centos4

Dhcp 3.0.5 on 5.x
I am looking to use the update-conflict-detection false; directive in the dhcpd.conf. It is supported in EL6 or and dhcp >=3.1.0a1. Since I am not going to get permission to switch to EL6 or dhcp 3.1 what are my options? Background: I have a DNS/DHCPD system which its conf files are generated automagically. Depending on which network a device is on the ip address will change. It is always

I would recommend RHEL for critical systems or those that must be certified for a particular purpose, such as CA servers.

Curious I do not see the php53 in the yum centos 5 repositories. Kernel panic after install in cento6 before mounting root file system rw
I am hopelessly trying to debug a new install of 6.2 x86_64. I used the minimal install with default options. Unfortunately the screen garbles during the kernel panic. Scroll/Num lock lights are blinking. 1. Where can I find debugging steps? (tried rescue and mount to read /var/log, but no values written since it is still in RO mode) 2. Where are the keyboard blink codes documented? -Jason --

[OT] Oracle->MySQL ODBC via SSL using: stock MySQL, mysql-connect or-odbc-3.51.27-0, Oracle XE
I know this is very off topic, but getting MySQL and unix ODBC to play nice via SSL on Centos has been a battle. I finally have it working via isql but when I connect via Oracle I get an error. If I use the mysql odbc connector directly: ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message: [Generic Connectivity Using ODBC][MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]SSL connection error
