Python/sqlite date time problems.
Bear with me, this is CentOS related. :)
I have a python CGI that's behaving weirldy on Whitebox systems
that've been switched over to CentOS 4 (ages ago, no other problems to
speak of aside from this one).
I've broken the problem down to a minimal test case...

Rare error with concurrent users searching with fts-solr
Hi all,
If I start two o more connections with diferent users that make a
search text to solr I get this message many times:
Error: fts_solr: Query didn't return uid
If I repeat the test about 2000 times, with only one user concurrent,
with 60 diferent users, without concurrent, I get between 0.
If I repeat the test about 2000 times, with 2 users concurrent, I get
between 3 or 10 errors.

combine external video source and audio call to make SIP video call?
I'd like to cobble together a videophone from an analog phone,
connected to an Asterisk FXS channel, and a co-located video camera,
connected to a video grabber card on the Asterisk server (so I have a
Linux video device providing the video stream). When a call is made
from the phone, I'd like to somehow add the video and produce a SIP
video call. I don't want to use any sort of

Xen physical host statistics
Hello,
- I am trying to make an application, which would connect to a remote
xen host and fetch some information about total (physical) CPU usage,
total memory usage, network and disk I/O. I have managed to do a remote
statistics grabber for CPU and memory usage using libvirt. I couldn''t
find any source of information about libvirt ability to return I/O

Upgrading from WBEL and 4.2?
A while ago, I wrote a script to switch a server from WBEL 4.x to CentOS 4.x.
The recent switch to 4.2 broke this script. Now there are all kinds of
dependencies like python-urlgrabber, and tshe task of getting these sorted
out just drop me into dependency hell. (and this is just trying to get yum
installed!)
Suggestions?

DirectShow Theora Issue with RGB24
Hi,
I hope you can help, I am in need of some assistance with the DirectShow
filters for Theora.
I have successfully created a working capture graph using OGG / Vorbis /
Theora, however, when I add a Sample Grabber Directshow filter between the
FFDShow decoder and Theora Encoder, this results in the video file being
mirrored vertically. I have noticed that the original CaptureGraph was
