Dear collegues! I've got one question about drbd-kmdl packages. upcoming DRBD updates in CentOS Extras for CentOS 4 and 5
Ralph Angenendt, Fabian Arrotin, Akemi Yagi and I have been working on new DRBD packages for CentOS Extras. We have some packages that have been tested in the testing repository. LinBit has discontinued their 8.2 tree, so drbd83 will replace drbd82 in both CentOS 4 and CentOS 5 extras. DRBD 0.7.25 will remain in CentOS 4, however it gets no upstream support and I would recommend you upgrade to

RHEL 5.3 Beta released, beta-testers needed
Hi all, The CentOS community is pretty limited in what we can do to the core distribution. Since our mantra is "aiming to be 100% compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux" we cannot fix bugs or improve the CentOS core without waiting for Red Hat to make those modifications first. We have limited leverage and a 6-month release cycle against us. But that is not the complete truth,

Ext3 and drbd read-only remount problem.

I have two hosts with drbd: kmod-drbd83-8.3.8-1.el5.centos drbd83-8.3.8-1.el5.centos and kernel (CentOS 5.7): 2.6.18-308.4.1.el5 After a recent upgrade of kernel I have had two sitiuations when my ext3 filesystem on /dev/drbd0 became read-only. I've checked disks with smartctl -t long, they are ok. There are no messages with disks problems in /var/log/messages | dmesg. I've made

xl stack problems on CentOS6 XEN4
Hi George, I already outlined the drbd-stuff on xen-users (see attachement). Yes - elrepo is right on mark. Excerpt: "The script (/etc/xen/scripts/block-drbd) I am using is from drbd84-utils-8.9.2-1.el6.elrepo.x86_64 - and already seems to contain the "drbd or phy" case; both in the add and the remove branch. CentOS6 XEN4 is based on the Kernel 3.10.68-11.el6.centos.alt.x86_64

Last character of the boot prompt gone missing ?
Hi, I think I found a problem with syslinux where if you have an entry in the syslinux config file (eg. linux) and you type some additional parameters on the boot-prompt (eg. noacpi) the last character of the prompt is cut off (and missing from /proc/cmdline). This does not seem to happen for the append line in the config file, only for additional parameters on the boot prompt. (I guess it

Hi, Can we use the same image for external links on the wiki as we are using for Trac ? It is much less obtrusive in pieces of text.
