But both of these are already installed: # rpm -q gmime gmime-sharp

Everyone, Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask this question, but would sure appreciate some direction if this list is the wrong place. Looks like Fedora 5 and 6 have gmime-2.1.19 as part of the distribution, but it is not present within CentOS 5 or with the extra repositories I would like to use some of the tools in this package to decode some mime e-mail attachments on a CentOS

Running: yum list available | grep -i gmime shows results for CentOS 5, but not for CentOS 6. It seems to be needed by my pan. What should I do? Thanks, Mike.

If you have the epel repo installed and enabled during a yum update, you get java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0-1.0.b12.el5.2 instead of the stock .b09 version. Is this intentional and desirable? I had a need on a centos 5.4 x86_64 box to try and run with a later totem. I desired to do this by source. I had to update all these packages on CentOS 6 for a project. Everything works great on CentOS 6 - except - Copy/Paste between applications. Anyone - know which application below might control that function? Example I cannot have firefox running and copy and paste text into thunderbird. Somewhere during the course of recent updates I've lost the Java plugin for Firefox. Not sure when it happened, but I know Java was working in Firefox earlier this year. At the current time, we do not recommend attempting to build Asterisk on CentOS 8. Many packages Asterisk uses are not yet available and would require building from their sources.
