Opening wine-based applications from Firefox?
Like all decent browsers, Firefox offers the possibility to link file types to specific applications. However, there seems to be a serious problem preventing the linking of file types to wine-based applications. Consider the following: you want Firefox to open filetype xyz with the wine-based application prog_xyz. In the download actions you can specify the complete path to the application,

A problem about upgrade centos5.2
hi, i made a mistake that i used centos5.4 i686 to upgrade the centos 5.2 x86_64,which runs on a server whose cpu is Xeon. The server seems to need CentOS X86_64 version. Should i use the?CentOS 5.4 X86_64 disk to upgrade the CentOS 5.4 i 686? Ps.I urgently need to upgrade it because the glibc x86_64 conflicts with the i686 one....It drives me crazy and i am hitting my head against the wall...

problem with 5.4 x86_64 DVD iso?
Hi all, I downloaded the 5.4 x86_64 DVD ISO this morning (CentOS-5.4-x86_64-bin-DVD.iso). However, the md5sum and sha1sums both don't match what's in the md5sum.txt or the release notes (http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS5.4). I downloaded two ISOs from two different mirrors, RIT and ANL, and both ISOs have the same checksums (match each other), which are different from

VMWare ESXi & CentOS5.4
I have a brand new Dell Poweredge T310 server with 4G ram and 1TB raid-5 hard drive in it.
