Slow terminal response Centos 7.7 1908
It was found that the software NIC team created in Centos was having issues due to a failing network cable. The team was going berserk with up/down changes. waiting IOs...
Hi, We have a storage server (HP DL360G5 + MSA20 (12 disks in RAID 6) on a SmartArray6400). 10 directories are exported through nfs to 10 clients (rsize=32768,wsize=32768,soft,intr,nosuid,proto=udp,vers=3). The server is apparently not doing much but... we have very high waiting IOs. dstat show very little activity, but high 'wai'... # dstat ----total-cpu-usage---- -dsk/total-

Slow terminal response Centos 7.7 1908
Hey! I have a strange condition in one of the servers that I don't where to start looking. I login to the server via SSH (cant doit any other way) and anything that I type is slow HTTP sessions timeout waiting for screen redraw. So, the server is acting "slow". server is bare metal. no virtual services. no alarms in the disk raid note: server was restarted because of power failure.

Weird performance problem
Hi, I'm running a CentOS 4. server and I sometimes face a weird problem. It is a weird performance problem, and here is how I discovered it. This server runs OpenVZ virtual machines, and one of them is an asterisk server for my personal use. The first symptom of the problem is that the voice quality became flaky. So I logged on the server to see what could be eating cpu cycles, when I

Fallback
Hi, I'm trying the following settings but it seams that it's not working :( While I try to switch down the server a, the fallback is not used. The "/letsgozik-HiQ-backup" is working (localy). An idea ? <relay> <server>a</server> <port>xxxxxxx</port> <mount>/letsgozik-HiQ</mount>

A general Mathematicasl pointer if you could? Thank you.
Greetings. A friend of mine and I are thinking about implementing the SIQ Protocol, describe as RFC here: http://www.milter.info/milter-siq/draft-irtf-asrg-iar-howe-siq-00.txt as an Apache Module. This would implement the HTTP "connector?? described in the RFC. While we do not think that this is too complicated, we are concerned about the whole process that is attached to building the

Thanks for the answer. How can I do a "failback" for a relayed stream ? The idea is to set up a relay that can use for the same mountpoint two connection. removing outliers in non-normal distributions
Hello, I'm seeking ideas on how to remove outliers from a non-normal distribution predictor variable. We wish to reset points deemed outliers to a truncated value that is less extreme. (I've seen many posts requesting outlier removal systems. It seems like most of the replies center around "why do you want to remove them", "you shouldn't remove them", "it

problem with asterisk - calls where both sides cannot hear each other
Hi, I'm looking for some help with a problem in Asterisk (possibly), and I'm confused as heck what is going on. I've updated to the latest Asterisk version and the problem is still occur. My setup is as follows: I've got Asterisk running on a high end Pentium-IV box running Linux serving 5 calls, it is located in Canada. The calls come in via analog lines through TDM400P cards to

[ANNOUNCE] xf86-video-chips 1.4.0
This is a bug fix release of Chips & Technologies DDX for X.Org X Server. There was an X Server crash bug with the Version 1.3 and older code when the code was converted for a newer vgaHW ABI. This affects devices older than the HiQVideo generation. This release fixes this particular issue. Please note that the code may not compile against X Server 1.20 since it no longer supports 24-bit

problem with asterisk - calls where both sidescannot hear each other
If you use both the public and private interfaces for VoIP in the Asterisk Server, make sure you don't specify one of them for the binding in sip.conf Example bindaddr=0.0.0.0 will allow SIP traffic on any of your interfaces. Data.frame manipulation
Hi All, I'm conducting a meta-analysis and have taken a data.frame with multiple rows per study (for each effect size) and performed a weighted average of effect size for each study. This results in a reduced # of rows. I am particularly interested in simply reducing the additional variables in the data.frame to the first row of the corresponding id variable. For example:

Bi-directional sync for Sysvol folder -- Osync?
Just some notes: For master <-> master setup (bi-directional sync) you need AFAIK a cluster filesystem. I have no idea how far this is supported w/ samab (ACLs, ...) Maybe a old tool related to drbd might be worth some testing too: http://oss.linbit.com/csync2/ Klaus ________________________________________ Von: samba-bounces at lists.samba.org [samba-bounces at
