[LLVMdev] converting large projects to LLVM
Hi,
I wrote an interprocedural instrumentation pass that needs to run on all program at once.
However, when I try to test it on large programs (say bzip2 or gcc) I find that the way LLVM
tools do not easilly replace the default ones used in makefiles. So building large projects is
not straightforward. Is there a simple way to do this conversion?
Thank you,

OT?
I have a CentOS server with postfix running. A pop user's account was
compromised and a lot of spam started being sent. My upstream ISP's
mail program started refusing to talk to me because of the very high
rate of mail, error 451. I disabled the compromised account. I then
changed the postfix settings to deliver mail directly and flushed the
mail queue. This resulted in spam

So this is supposed to duplicate the uAPI of vhost-user? But it is
open coded and duplicated because .. vdpa?

Client for P800/P900
Hi Guys,
is there a client which can be used on the SonyEricsson P800/P900...?
IAX would be cool, but i take anything that can connect (via bluetooth)
to an asterisk-server ;-).
The phone is Symbian, and can also execute java-stuff...

Disallow some sftp commands
Hello,
Couple of days ago, I received a request from a customer.
He wants to provide sftp users access to a directory tree containing files.
The users must have full rights, but he also wants to avoid moving or
deleting directories. This is mostly to prevent mistakenly drag and
drop from user's graphical client (Filezilla).
Said differently, he wants to protect the directories organization.

p800 and HP
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with HP MSA60 with P400
and P800 controller. How reliable are they for a 24x7 shop?

OT hardware issue: HP controller to 3rd party RAID
Hi, folks,
Got an old HP box with a P800 Smart Array controller. The HP RAID box
plugged into it's failing, and we got a new JetStor. Anyone know if we
can just plug the JetStor in and set it to passthrough, or if we have
to use the P800's firmware to set up the RAID, or other gotchas?
I *think* we could use the RAID boxes firmware to build the RAID, but last
resort would be

Userspace mounts issue
Hello,
I don't know if this is bug-worthy or not It can be fixed in numerous
places, but I think it might make the most sense to do it here....
kinit uses /dev/root to mount the rootfs. In normal userspace, this
causes the root system to be displayed twice in apps like Nautilus, as
/proc/mounts lists rootfs on /dev/root, in addition to the real info
(e.g. ext3 on /dev/hda3).

digikamimageplugins from Karan's repo
Hi,
I've just installed digikam and digikamimageplugins from Karan's repo.
The digikam package works nicely, however if I try to use any of the
plugins from digikamimageplugins, digikam crashes complaining about
unresolvable symbols, for example:
digikam: symbol lookup error:
/usr/lib64/kde3/digikamimageplugin_adjustlevels.so: undefined symbol:

pop3 usernames
Hello,
I would like to allow users to login as user at domain.tld instead of
providing their login name; I'm coming from the sendmail/qpopper land
and am trying to migrate to postfix/maildir/dovecot one step at a time
and I've been able to find a way to do most of what I want except for
the above requirement.
Do I have to use a SQL server or is there any way to easilly map an

Centos 5.6 Implications of PGP53 ?
If one stays with Centos 5.x (currently on 5.6) is the
problem/enhancement/incompatibility involving PHP53 likely to be
resolved by general updates and/or the introduction of Centos 5.7 ?
Paul.

[PATCH] Extra Notifications
I am working on exposing events to external apps via the dbus plugin
I found that I really wanted extra Notify Procedures so that I didn't
have to do too much direct access to xlib (If I understand rightly, plugin
developers shouldn't have to do too much xlib work inside the plugins)
I added Create, Destroy, Map, Unmap, Minimize and Unminimize
Hopefully this can be included as I know a

PCI passthrough of cciss HBA
All,
I would like to run the following issue past the list to confirm that my
problem analysis makes sense or whether I missed something:
We have a HP ML370G6 server with VT-x and VT-d enabled in the BIOS. It is
equipped with two Smart Array HBAs - one connected to the HDD array
(SmartArray P800) and one connected to an LTO tape drive (SmartArray
P212). Both controllers use the same driver

PHP5/CentosPlus big mess.
Ok, so if you tuned in last time, I couldn't make the installation/upgrade of
PHP5 from the Centos4 CentOS Plus repository work. Not one to be easilly
dissuaded, I shapened my shovel and dug myself a hole.
So using the exclude= lines in the repository config file backfired big time:
even if I excluded the exclude= lines, yum continued to exclude the files
on those lines, and only deigned to

More than 2TB RAID...
Hi,
I just received a new server (HP DL180G5) with 12x 1TB HDs and I bumped into fdisks 2TB limits...
Since this is an entry level server, I can't use the classic HP bootable utilities to create smaller volumes et can only create a big RAID6.
I found out that: using parted, labelling it gpt and creating the partitions would do the trick.
But, what about grub? I read that it does not support
