How To Recover From Creating >2TB ext3 Filesystem on MSDOS Partition Table?
(I've already sent this message to Ted Ts'o directly. I should have sent it to this list first but I didn't know about it until today. My apologies to Ted.) Last Friday a system that I just inherited refused to mount a file system that had been working fine for about 6 months. This is on a Scientific Linux 4.3 system using a 2.6.9 kernel. This is another Linux distribution based on

PeriodicalExecuter stops when form is submitted in Safari 3
Hi I''m having a problem using PeriodicalExecuter with a form. I have a monitoring pane that updates status of form processing, and it stops working when I submit a form. It works with Safari 2, IE, Firefox, but not with Safari 3. I''ve made a test script: http://www.charmm-gui.org/test.html It updates a textarea, but it stops updating when the form is submitted in Safari 3. Any

[Rocks-Discuss] Virtualizing RockCluster 5.3
is there a way to virtualize rocks5.2 on rocks5.4? I have been trying to and the gecko based install menu keeps failing. The error is a http 404 when looking for the release notes to display. any Idea of what causes that? I had that happen last time I tried to install rocks 5.2 on bare metal. The only notable thing about my network is that its on a 255.255.254.0 subnet mask. I can reserve its ip

vm86 mode is not supported
Greetings humans, first post alert. I've used the search to no avail...I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 on an AMD64. I have Wine version 1.1.22, and it seems to have installed ok. I can run winecfg no problem, and also notepad from the applications menu, which is really the only test I know how to do. I've got a piece of software called PL/SQL Developer, which is in the apps db and looks

[LLVMdev] gfortran: link error building gfortran on linux
Hi, in trying to build an llvm-gfortran on linux from today's gcc4 SVN, I get the following link errors that didn't show up on OS X. This is also using LLVM CVS from this morning. They appear to mostly be related to CodeWarrior compatibility code, but a couple are less obvious. What's the best way to fix this? I'm stuck without my powerbook for at least three weeks and I'd

gfortran-4.4
Hello, gfortran-4.4 is not in the synaptic package manager. Effort to search for it on the web is not fruitful. I tried to install gcc-4.4 in place of it. That does not solve my problem either. Another machine that has gfortran-4.4 runs my code without error. Attempt to run the same code with gcc-4.4 failed. I equally tried running the same code with gfortran-4.3 but that resulted in error. [LLVMdev] gfortran
Hi, in a thread this afternoon about compiling the Fortran SPEC2000 to LLVM bytecode, Chris mentioned that it should be possible to compile to LLVM with the gfortran front end, although no one has necessarily tried it. I was surprised (and happy) to hear this, as under the impression that it would require a "complete rewrite of the gfortran backend" [1]. Now, I probably misinterpreted

windows rtools missing gfortran.exe?
Hi, I replaced my Rtools today as posted at http://www.murdoch-sutherland.com/Rtools/Rtools.exe Trying to build R-devel_2007-12-13.tar.gz without modifying MkRules gives the gfortran command not found error below. I am wondering if gfortran.exe is missing from (recent?) Rtools.exe or I am doing something wrong. Thanks to hints at Duncan's site, I worked around the error by adding

[LLVMdev] llvm-gfortran problems
Hi Ashay, Do you need specifically llvm-gfortran that is based on gcc 4.2? Since that, DragonEgg has been introduced - a powerful plugin to gcc that makes it possible to utilize regular gcc compilers as frontends to llvm: http://dragonegg.llvm.org/ It generates Fortran90 programs for me very well. - D. 2011/9/1 Ashay Rane <ashay.rane at tacc.utexas.edu>: > Hello, > I have been

[LLVMdev] How to use the JIT with llvm-gfortran ?
Hi all, I am having a look at llvm-gfortran; it compiles OK, but I do not know how to using the JIT as described in http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html#tutorial. With llvm-gcc I managed to invoke the lli properly, but with llvm-gfortran compiled programs, it fails with the following message: philou at tleilax:~/gcc/llvm/install/bin$ lli ./main.bc 'main' function not found in
