Multiple network cards - routing issue?
I have a Centos 5 machine here that, up until about a year ago, was happily running Icecast and serving streaming audio through through three network connections, consisting of one "local" connection (local address 192.168.1.5) and two cable modems to talk to the outside world. We shut this down about a year ago, but now I am attempting to get it going again on one outside connection

One NIC is has an IP on a subnet with a default gateway defined and the other NIC has an IP on a different subnet with a different gateway on a different VLAN defined. I can't seem to dial out with Voicepulse Open Access service using *. Incoming works fine. Another user posted a few weeks back that they were having problems and there are some threads at dslreports.com about this as well. Multiple Internet facing Nics - Gateway issue
I have a server with 4 nics. Two are using different internet connections, both with static IP's, and two are connected to our private network. The two internet facing nics seem to be battling over the gateway designation. Which ever I designate as the gateway the other stops responding to incoming traffic. I need both to listen to inbound traffic. One for our main web page and the other

transparent proxy with shorewall
Hi, I followed the instructions posted on the shorewall web page for transparent proxy, but I still cannot get it to work. I have almost the same setup as described on the web, running squid on dmz, eth1, and the loc on eth2. I can see that packets going out from the fw, they are not sent to the squid proxy, and if I try to telnet to the squid proxy to port 80, where I should be directed to

Rubygems Issues
I recently upgraded a server''s rubygems from 0.9.0 to 1.2.0. Upon doing so, one of our apps that uses soap4r thinks all the security certificates it sees are invalid (see Error 1 below). I tried reverting to 0.9.0, but anything that uses rubygems crashes now (see Error 2 below). If anyone could help me solve either problem, that would be great. Ideally, I''d like to run the latest

Simple routing configuration
Hi, I have a simple question (well, at least I think it''s simple!). I have a router, with four Ethernet cards; eth0-eth3. eth0 and eth3 are the ''external'' cards, connecting to my ISPs. eth1 and eth2 are connected to my internal networks. What I want to do is basically filter all the traffic from one card to another, in this configuration: eth1 to eth3 eth2 to eth0

Network configuration
Hi, Apologies for the cross-posting; I''m not sure whether this is a firewall or routing issue, or both! I have four network cards, detailed below. eth0 and eth3 connect to my ISPs, and eth1 and eth2 connect to local networks. I want to route all traffic from eth2 to eth0, and from eth1 to eth3. However, I am having a few problems with this. eth0 ip: 192.168.100.253/24 gw:
