Running configure from subdirectory of source tree
Hello everyone, I would like to seek your advice regarding a build (or rather "configure") problem I am running into. For reference, tests are all relative to a build from a 1.8.26.0 tarball, on Debian Wheezy. I would like to understand if it is possible, and if any of you have tried, to build Asterisk from a subdirectory of the source tree, i.e., from a clean source tree # mkdir

Survreg function for loglogistic hazard estimation
I am trying to use R to do loglogistic hazard estimation. My plan is to generate a loglogistic hazard sample data and then use survreg to estimate it. If everything is correct, survreg should return the parameters I have used to generate the sample data. I have written the following code to do a time invariant hazard estimation. The output of summary(modloglog) shows the factor loading of

[LLVMdev] Problem building the LLVM sample project
Hi all, I'm starting a new project and I'm having some trouble with the LLVM configure+Makefile system. When I type "./configure" in the sample project, it seems to work. However, after going down to the autoconf dir and typing "./AutoRegen.sh", when I go back to the project main dir and type "./configure" again, I get the following error: configure:

Competing risks Kalbfleisch & Prentice method
Dear R users I would like to calculate the Cumulative incidence for an event adjusting for competing risks and adjusting for covariates. One way to do this in R is to use the cmprsk package, function crr. This uses the Fine & Gray regression model. However, a simpler and more classical approach would be to implement the Kalbfleisch & Prentice method (1980, p 169), where one fits cause

Regression; how to get t-values for all parameters estimates
Dear all, Even after a couple of hours looking at old messages I still haven't found a solution for my problem. I'm trying to fit an additive linear regression model with 2 effects, both fixed, to some dataset. The function contrasts(effectA) <- contr.sum can gaurantee that the coefficients per parameter sum to one, and the function dummy.coef provices the estimates of all

[PATCH 00 of 17] Documentation updates
The following series flushes my documentation queue and replaces previous postings of those patches. The main difference is that the xl cfg file is now formatted using POD instead of markdown and presented as a manpage. I have setup a cron job to build docs/html and publish it at http://xenbits.xen.org/docs/unstable/ (it''s a bit bare right now). The motivation for some of these patches
