Belkin F5D6050 USB Wireless in CentOS 4.2
Is anyone successfully using a Belkin F5D6050 USB Wireless in CentOS
4.2? If so, what driver are you using? Did you have to do anything
special to make it work? At this point, I have downloaded, compiled
installed and loaded the latest drivers from
http://atmelwlandriver.sourceforge.net but lvnet is unable to find my
adapter. I've tried every driver module that it created, and still no

Dscript for knowing the I/O processes going on in Solaris10
Hi,
I have an JAVA application using JNI calls which links to native libraries. When i run this application for around 4hrs i am getting a java.io.IOException "Not enough space".
No memory leaks in JAVA as my JProbe reports are fine.
I came across DTrace which help us to know what internally is happening in the Solaris10 machine as I doubt my system configuration for the above

Please help with Samba on Solaris10
Hi
I'm having lots of problems getting Samba to work on Solaris.
First I tried the version which comes with Solaris10: 3.0.30.
It almost did work, but a user could not _rename_ files.
Next try was with 3.4.0. Unfortunately winbindd tried to _modify_ idmap
entries in my LDAP server to make them be from the UID range defined in smb.conf.
WHY? What's the idea behind it?
Winbindd also

Problems (Panic) with 3.2.0rc1 on Solaris10/ADDomainMember
Hi list
I am having difficulties with 3.2.0rc1 on a Solaris10
server.
After unsuccessfully trying once again to get winbindd to
run in our environment (AD, SFU), we resorted back to the old
solution of syncing the nss infos from AD down to the Unix
passwd and group files by a perlscript and doing only
authentication against the Active Directory.
Now, I have other problems, however.

Inherited ACLs can not be removed on Solaris10 sparc
Hi,
I have a problem with the removal of inheritance ACLs of subdirectories.
It almost sounds like only adding ACLs work but removals of inheritance
ACL's not.
By default the access rights (including ACLs) should be inherited, but
it should also be possible to remove the access rights from any
subdirectory.
This is what I am trying to do, I have a share called media with some

setup_new_vc_session error message on samba-3.4.8/solaris10
folks, we're running samba-3.4.8 (--with-krb5=/usr/local/lib --with-ads
--with-ldap) under solaris_10; in the past week we've seen an issue where
the number of smbd processes begins to far exceed the number of
connections (as reported by smbstatus). when this occurs, we see the
server in question stop answering new requests (ssh, smb, nfs) though old
requests are honored and system logs

g.729 on solaris10/x86
Hello,
I'm looking for a way to have G.729 codec working on Solaris/x86.
Binary codec from Digium is not compiled for Solaris/x86 (only sparc).
Are there any alternative (free or commercial) G.729 implementations,
which would work?
I saw something from Intel and got it to compile on Linux, but it
was only for evaluation purposes, so we upgraded to commercial codec
from Digium. I

Ah, okay, I see. submission_max_mail_size should be defined as uoff_t instead of size_t in struct submission_settings and struct submission_settings.
