Kerio Mailserver on Centos 5
I was wondering if any of the mail admins on here have used the kerio
mail server on centos, and their thoughts on it.
My initial testing is going very well - but was hoping for some
unbiased opinions (as opposed to asking on the kerio forum) on it's
use with centos (5 in particular if possible). THE typical q's - IE
performance, issues, etc.
Thanks in advance.

date differs permanent some 3450 sec.
Hi,
the date jumps within 30 seconds to a wrong value. ntp service is
stopped at the beginning.
Whereas hwclock seems more precise.

Intermittent Authentication Errors
Hello Samba People,
We have a Kerio Connect (email) server using Samba 4.8.5 as it’s directory service (3 AD DCs). We’ve been using this setup for about 3 years now.
Over the last several months, we’ve been trying to find out why Samba starts rejecting attempts that the Kerio Connect mail server makes to authenticate our users. The errors in Kerio look like this:
Authentication failed for user

Migration Of Records From Old Samba Domain To New One
Thank you for taking time to do this, Andrew. But, of course, it will be too late for me.
I’ve just returned from exile, where I went on a spirit quest of sorts. Except that, on this quest, I was obliged to keep my distance until I had found a way to export and import all users, groups and group membership from my old samba domain to my new one.
I updated schema to support Kerio Connect using

NFS new security requirements?
Hi
I've suddenly lost access to some permanent cross-server shares.
I think this was following the Nov 5 new kernel, rather than the Centos version upgrade.
I don't see any difference to man mount.nfs
I have:-
[root at hs6 ~]# mount hs8:/data /sysback/hs8-data -v
mount: no type was given - I'll assume nfs because of the colon

long print times
we have two machines/users that experience extremely long wait times
when printing documents to samba servers. Both machines are Windows
XP. We have also noted that both were running personal firewalls, one
was micrisofts, the other was kerio. We also noted that when turning
these firewalls OFF, the wait times vanished and the systems behaved
normally.
Has anyone else seen this behavior? Any

Error Upgrading Schema
In general we do not allow the removal of schema.
In particular, because records in samba are stored under the attribute
name, removing schema or renaming schema items describing those
attributes and objectclasses can mean records cannot be processed
correctly.
However, if you confirm you really have exactly the entry already in
the schema, you could edit the new schema not to add that

CentOS 7 cloned VM cannot boot
Hello,
I'm struggling to make a cloned CentOS 7 VM (under KVM) to work.
The VM was cloned using mondorestore. Restore appears successful but the
VM won't boot; see:

I booted with CentOS 7 disk in troubleshooting mode (where the virtual
disk was automatically mounted without issues) and I tried to repair:

NFS lockups
I thought this had been fixed with newer kernels?
We have an old Maxtor Snap Server, an 80 GB NAS unit, containing some of our archives.
Both of our CentOS servers have it permanently mounted by NFS for convenient access.
This weekend, I discovered remotely that, although all systems except the VRTSralus remote agents for Veritas (now Symantec) Backup Exec were working just fine, both servers
