Hi all, I downloaded the 5.4 x86_64 DVD ISO this morning (CentOS-5.4-x86_64-bin-DVD.iso). However, the md5sum and sha1sums both don't match what's in the md5sum.txt or the release notes (http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS5.4). I downloaded two ISOs from two different mirrors, RIT and ANL, and both ISOs have the same checksums (match each other), which are different from

I tried to install it on DELL server and get following error message before RPM start install: parted_1.8.1-23.els.x86_64.rpm can NOT open anyone know why? Dear centos community, I was in the process of loading the latest 5.5 release of centos in a VMWARE ESX 4.1 host as my first virtual machine, suddenly while booting I got a panic error with the following on screen. Can someone point me in the right direction. This machine has 24 cores and I allocated 1 for Centos to use with 1024MB of memory. Any clues or workaround to solve this problem? Thank

Just curious. In the two most recent releases of CentOS 7 AltArch i386 there has not been made available a DVD iso (or the live ones) alongside NetInstall/Minimal/Everything. Any plans to make available the DVD variation for the current or future releases? For older 32-bit hardware, it can be nice to be able to burn a single layer DVD. Thanks for your time, -Brendan
