similar to: CentOS 5.3 on X86_64: yum installs both i386 and x86_64 packages

To All, I am having trouble updating two x86_64 machines, and am getting the same error messages on each. I have the base, extra, and plus repos enabled. Any help you can extend would be appreciated. I added via visudo my userid for authorization of me ALL(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL and I still cannot run yum as me. Is this just not possible?

guys, i have installed mailscanner, spamassassin, etc on my machine. This was done sometime ago. Some of these rpms i got not frm centos repos. What command ( or yum command ) can i use to find out which repo did this installled package come from. yum info packagename just says; repo : installed i was hoping for something like repo:rpmforge or something similiar. i have these 3 rpms

Any one using vnc server on centos 5.1? on 4.6 I had no issue. on 5.1 I am having times when on connetion the VNC serveris crashing and logs me out of all my open'ed items. I can relog in. But I was wondering if others are seeing this and if there is something to do about it. THanks, Jerry

I want to set up a multiple "mode" computer with four separate Centos installations on it. The objective here is to have a "spare computer" that I can boot up into any of four "modes" depending on what I'm swapping it in for a the moment.
