Inspect_os() error
I posted this problem on IRC yesterday. Here are some logs.
Recap on the problem:
When I do inspect_os() (from the python api) or invoke virt-inspector, I
get this error:
libguestfs: error: internal_parse_mountable: internal_parse_mountable_stub:
/dev/vg_nestedctos1/lv_root: No such file or directory
I don't have this problem when I invoke it using the OS supplied binaries
(version 1.14.8).

Issue with Libguestfs
Hi,
I'm using SolusVM control panel to create KVM VPS. Suddenly, I can't make
any VPS on Host-Node. Their build log says the SolusVM can't read the
libguestfs in server.
During the debug, I've tried to mount existing VPS using guestmount command
and I can't mount the KVM image.
Please check here.

KDE and mounting CD's / DVD's without noexec
Hi e,
I am normally use gnome and would do the following to make my CD / DVD
mount with exec
gnome-mount --write-settings --device /dev/sdc0 -o exec
What is the equivalent in KDE ? My initial research suggests that I
actually have to write a custom udev rule to achieve this.
This has led me as far as running
udevinfo -q path -n /dev/scd0
udevtest /block/sr0 (the output is below)

Re: Error while loading shared libraries: libsbz.so
I've tried the workaround you suggested but it doesn't seem to work. Also
tried to add just "libsbz.so" to zz-workaround with no success. It throws
the same error as before.
PS: Sorry I've just hit reply without checking the "To:" address and I
guess it sent directly to you.

Hi Rich,
I did what you said, and it passed that point. But I had another error.
Maybe is not related.
I will run as you said.

Xorcom Astribank udev issue in Ubuntu 9.10
Hi,
I have upgraded an Asterisk installation with a Xorcom BRI Astribank
that was working under Ubuntu 8.04 to Ubuntu 9.10 and the device is no
longer initialized.
When I reload the udev rules, I see that the rules seems to be correctly
loaded:
udevd[452]: reading '/etc/udev/rules.d/40-xpp.rules' as rules file
However, these rules do not seem to be triggered:
# udevadm trigger

Upgrade from 4.7 to 5.2 problem with udev and ssl
Hello,
Got cocky and decided to upgrade from from 4.7 to 5.2. Have a couple
problems I can't figure out.
The first is I cannot access webmin securely. I had to use
httpd.conf.rpmnew to even get apache to start. Got it running but now I
seem to have no secure connection to webmin.
Next, I have never seen this before but I don't appear to have problems that
I have found. Upon startup,

Hi RIch
It got solved.I updated the newer vmlinuz file with the older one after
enabling the virtio modules with (m) option.

from the cloud and let you know if any further issues.

udev works ok in CentOS 6.x??
Hi all,
I have strange problem with my persistent names applied to iscsi
disks. I have configured an udev rule to assign static iscsi disk
names:
KERNEL=="sd[a-z]", SUBSYSTEM=="block", PROGRAM="/sbin/scsi_id
--whitelisted --replace-whitespace --device=/dev/$name",
RESULT=="1iTGTDSK9a2c73ce654d0ca6", NAME="iscsi/sda"

Hi all,
Sorry for bothering you in this dev mailing list, I'm using libguestfs to
customize some vm using as bases the ubuntu cloud images.
But I noticed that it takes a lot and then fails when trying to install a
packet.
Same behaviour on Ubuntu 18.04 and Centos 7.5

Hi,
Sometimes, I found one of my Mellanox NIC renamed to rename6, instead
of eth1. The right names of NICs in my system should be:
eth0 Mellanox NIC
eth1 Mellanox NIC
eth2 Intel NIC
eth3 Intel NIC
eth4 Intel NIC
eth5 Intel NIC
eth0 and eth1 will combined as bond1 with mode 4. However, the current

Thank you very much for your help.
How can I draw a Lorenz curve with several replications ?
Here is an example with 4 replications:
