Hi, My both CentOS 5 servers have logging problems. Logs such as messages, boot.log, kernel, spooler, and tallylog in /var/log directory are all 0 size. The kernel is: Linux 2.6.18-92.1.22.el5 #1 SMP. Since the /var/log/messages contained no information it would be impossible to troubleshoot the problem. hi all, If I have a shell script on 5.1 that has 2 commands in the script... command1 command2 and command1 runs until it is kill'ed by some other process. Sometimes command2 runs and sometimes it doesnt (this is what it seems like). How can I be ensured that command2 will always run after command1 is killed? The script is not killed just command1. Hello everybody, i am trying to mount a CIFS-share while booting, providing a credential file for the share (/root/smbpassword) - without success (with SElinux turned on). Previously, we used the Casablanca timezone but now there seems to be a 1 hour difference to GMT. I checked the London zone and they seem to change time too.
