IPv6 range provisioning question
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

A few months back, I tried to use the network scripts to provision an IPv6 range
like can be done with IPv4. I was using CentOS 5.2 at the time and was informed
that 5.2 was broken in this regard. I have upgraded to CentOS 5.3 now and I am
trying to get IPv6 to provision an entire range of IPs, but I am still getting
the old behavior and no IPs are

multiple nics in a xenU
Hi xen users,
I''d like xen0 to be the controller and xenU(1) to be a firewall/router
with 4 subnets (WAN, LAN, DMZ, TEAM) each with 1 of 4 physical nics
attached to it.
Using FC4 with xen-3.0.0-7 with linux kernel 2.6.12.6, default make

are recognized, lspci shows them to be present.

Make eth1 primary interface
I have a Centos 3 server with three network interfaces. eth0 is for the
local network and the firewall is the gateway, the ip and gateway are
set statically.
eth1 is a adsl connection using dhcp to allocate the ip. I want to make
eth1 the default route. If it was statci I would just use a "route add
default gwd eth1" command, but I can't do that with DHCP.
How do I make eth1 the

Broadcom NIC Binding under Centos 4.2
Hello all,
I'm having unusual difficulty configuring teaming with Centos 4.2.
The 2 NIC's are Broadcom. The HW is HP DL360 and there is no teaming
driver for RHEL4 since it comes with package (says HP).
Since there is no teaming driver from centos (as far as I know), I tried
the Broadcom Driver, configured the team file, but the team just wont
come up. A Virtual Interface should be up

dedicated link in eth0), but the next command is not accepted, and gives us

Network Routing
Hi,
I have a linux router with 4 ethernet cards; eth0 through eth3. Basically,
all I want to do is route all traffic from eth2 to eth0, and all traffic
from eth1 to eth3.
I''ve looked through the LARTC how-to, specifically at chapter 4, about
multiple providers. However, I am still a bit confused, and not sure how to
set up my routing tables, as my scenario differs from the one in the

I''m new to Xen (and this mailing-list) and facing some problems with
the network. I''m stuck and don''t know how to continue. And Google
isn''t very helpful either...
