Make Errors with icecast2.3.2 on CentOS5
Hi,
I am not sure if this is the right list or not, but I seem to be having problems with the last part of the install of Icecast 2.3.2. Firstly, I'm running CentOS5 and am attempting to install Icecast. When I do make and make install, I get:
/usr/lib/libxslt.so: undefined reference to `xmlXPathContextSetCache'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

IE, flash and icecast
I'm having trouble getting an IE client to hear mp3 streams through a
flash player. It appears to be the same problem as described at
http://icecast.imux.net/viewtopic.php?t=2039 - the flash player connects
to the icecast server and begins downloading the audio data, but never
actually plays it.
I've tried all the suggestions from that thread - I patched icecast so
that the Content-length

x86_64 CentOS 5.3 Users - Library Issue
Hello,
I need to conduct a little research.
Anyone who is running CentOS 5.3 x86_64 please run the following:
# yum install libxml2-devel
# nm /usr/lib64/libxml2.a | grep xmlXPathContextSetCache
If my suspicions are correct, if you run cPanel/WHM you will not see
any output and if without cPanel/WHM you'll see something similar to
this:
00000000000023a0 T xmlXPathContextSetCache
Thanks

Python 2.4 64-bit problem w/CentOS5.3?
I'm getting this on two XF_64 systems by running "yum update" today.
Perhaps Python 2.4 is missing some lib64 libraries?

Looking for gfs2-kmod SRPM
I'm searching for the SRPM corresponding to this installed RPM.

It is missing from:

What I need from the SRPM are the patches. I'm working through
some issues using the source code, and the patches in the RedHat

These links don't suggest wildcards can be used, but I found the following
which may be workable if I install perl on the web server.

Build environment for totem-2.16.7-7.el5_6.1.src.rpm
This package has a build requirement 'gecko-devel' which is fulfilled by
'xulrunner-devel'. But in the process of building the browser plugins
two tools named 'xpidl' and 'xpt_link' are necessary. They werde once
part of 'gecko-devel' but are now replaced by other tools. I haven't
found any package that has these tools all the way back to 5.0.

non latin1 streaming
Hello, I searched through the archives and found a suggestion for a
cyrillic DJ to put the following in icecast.xml:
<mount>
<mount-name>/mountnamehere</mount-name>
<charset>UTF-8</charset>

This was to resolve his problem of displaying cyrillic characters on both
the status page and presumably on to listeners/players
My problem is that ocassionally

I'm having problems reading a shapefile with read.shape (maptools). I'm absolutely sure my file is there, but I get "no such file". The wd is ok, since read.table for example does find the file.

barplot problem
Hello,
I'm trying to find out how I can move the y axis label of a horizontal barplot further away from the axis, in order to avoid overlap between the names (which I have rotated using las=1) and the label. I have been fiddling with the graphical parameters but nothing seems to work. Maybe a graphical representation of the graphical parameters would be helpful (cf the CSS box model).
