Hi, I've been trying to listen to the BBC's ogg broadcasts over a 56Kbps modem and have had problems. I can listen to the archived shows, but I get occasonal pauses. I assume this can be fixed by pre-loading a large enough buffer. Filesize problems with samba client on Redhat 9 and W2k machine. The original smbclient did this so I upgraded to the latest, it didn't help. The server is W2k with an NTFS volume, these are video files - the windows software breaks the files at the 2G limit, but for some reason some are reported as 2G others as huge !! I am running Red Hat 7.2 and using smbmount to mount a PC share from a NT4 SP5 Workstation. I have a folder, in this share, of around 300 files and when I do ls -l I get inconsistencies.
