I am booting 5.3 on an a770 biostar motherboard THe machine boots, I get the prompt from the DVD I hit return and the screen says kernel alive but it never gets past that. So, I got Quickbooks 2008 working in the latest WINE, and Ubuntu 11.04. Problems happen when I try and open an existing company file. It wants to update, and then updating fails, and then the whole shebang fails to load after that. It appears as cpuspeed is not running on my centos 5 box(s). One is a biostar motherboard Am2 6400+ the other is Asus am2 4800+.
