PostgreSQL 8.3.0 was released on February 4, 2008. There are a number of valuable enhancements in this version including Heap Only Tuples and integration of full text search. It is also reputed to provide a performance increase of at least 5% over 8.2.6. As usual, RHEL compatible RPMS are available at postgresql.org. However, there is a new (to me at least) project at http://yum.pgsqlrpms.org/

I have several CentOS5 hosts in a VMware ESX 3.5.0 226117 environment using iSCSI storage. Recently we've begun to experience journal aborts resulting in remounted-read-only filesystems as well as other filesystem issues - I can unmount a filesystem and force a check with "fsck -f" and occasionally find errors. I've found -

Logon scripts assigned to a user do not execute when the user logs on; it did before the upgrade. I can run the script from the command line and it completes OK [like \\{DOMAIN}\netlogon\logon.bat]. I can also browse to the [netlogon] share without issue. Upgrade was from a late 4.0.x to 4.1.x to current 4.2.x. User's can logon without other issues [apparently]. Platform: CentOS7

I can add rules to an IP policy table after installing NetworkManager-config- routing-rules; but I have not found how to add routes to a table other than the specific table.
