A small howto: 1) add pci network card 2) install with "linux all-generic-ide pci=nommconf" 3) update to the latest distro kernel 2.6.9-42.0.3 4) get http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/e1000/e1000-7.3.20.tar.gz 5) do have kernel-headers, rpmbuild ... etc. 6) rpmbuild -ta
