I have a C++ program that I have been running on RedHat 6 and I want to move to CentOS 7. When I run it on the CentOS 7 system it fails with: error while loading shared libraries: libGLU.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I did this, but still have no libGLU. I did a find of the entire system for '*libGLU*' and nothing. bash-4.2# yum whatprovides libGLU.so.1

I want to get the original version of /etc/clamd.d/amavis.conf from the amavisd-new rpm to get the defaults to submit a bug report. I could not figure out how to do this, so I did a reinstall, but it did not replace this file (whatprovides says it comes from this rpm). Is there a way to extract just the one file, and better yet, place it elsewhere than its regular destination? thanks

I am trying to install perl-Digest-Perl-MD5 from rf and it is failing suggesting it needs /usr/bin/false. #yum whatprovides "/usr/bin/false" yields nothing. So you just want to force a reinstall of all currently installed.
