nonlinear quantile regression
Hello, I?m with a problem in using nonlinear quantile regression, the function nlrq. I want to do a quantile regression o nonlinear function in the form a*log(x)-b, the coefficients ?a? and ?b? is my objective. I try to use the command: funx <- function(x,a,b){ res <- a*log(x)-b res } Dat.nlrq <- nlrq(y ~ funx(x, a, b), data=Dat, tau=0.25, trace=TRUE) But a can?t solve de problem,

[Bridge] [PATCH][RFC] net/bridge: add basic VEPA support
This patch adds basic Virtual Ethernet Port Aggregator (VEPA) capabilities to the Linux kernel Ethernet bridging code. A Virtual Ethernet Port Aggregator (VEPA) is a capability within a physical end station that collaborates with an adjacent, external bridge to provide distributed bridging support between multiple virtual end stations and external networks. The VEPA collaborates by forwarding all

[Bridge] [PATCH net-next v2 3/3] net: bridge: Add a configurable default FDB learning limit
This adds a Kconfig option to configure a default FDB learning limit system wide, so a distributor building a special purpose kernel can limit all created bridges by default. The limit is only a soft default setting and overridable per bridge using netlink. Signed-off-by: Johannes Nixdorf <jnixdorf-oss at avm.de> --- Changes since v1: - Added a default limit in Kconfig. [Bridge] [PATCH net-next v2 1/3] bridge: Set BR_FDB_ADDED_BY_USER early in fdb_add_entry
This allows the called fdb_create to detect that the entry was added by the user early in the process. This is in preparation to adding limits in fdb_create that should not apply to user created fdb entries. Signed-off-by: Johannes Nixdorf <jnixdorf-oss at avm.de> --- Changes since v1: - Added this change to ensure user added entries are not limited. net/bridge/br_fdb.c | 6 +++--- 1

[Bridge] [PATCH net-next 1/2] bridge: Add a limit on FDB entries
A malicious actor behind one bridge port may spam the kernel with packets with a random source MAC address, each of which will create an FDB entry, each of which is a dynamic allocation in the kernel. There are roughly 2^48 different MAC addresses, further limited by the rhashtable they are stored in to 2^31. Each entry is of the type struct net_bridge_fdb_entry, which is currently 128 bytes big.

Basic matematical functions with NAs
Dear All, I've tried to sum columns -- different species of flowers, fruits plus twigs -- with NAs to get litterfall/trap, and then after use litterfall to calculate production (litterfall (grams)/ hectare/ day. But R 'sees' litterfall/trap as a string. My question: How to use basic mathematical functions to deal with NAs in data management. Example (as you can note I have many

Add new host to /etc/libvirt/qemu/networks/default.xml without virsh net-destroy?
Hi, When I setup a new KVM guest and add it's mac address to the default NAT'ted network, it would be nice to have that become active without having to destroy the network and recreate it - as that tends to make the other guests rather upset. Anybody knows how to achieve that? I've tried virsh net-edit but that doesn't seem to do anything useful :-( BR Bent
