Active Directory Integration with FreeRADIUS - NTLM_Auth
Hello,
I am trying to walk through the following document:
http://homepages.lu/charlesschwartz/radius/freeRadius_AD_tutorial.pdf
in order to authenticate Cisco router and switch logins against
FreeRadius/Active Directory. Using the HowTo, I have successfully
joined a FC2 box to our Windows 2003 AD for testing purposes. I have
also successfully used the manual ntlm_auth command to authenticate

WPA Radius wireless authentication and CentOS 5
I previously had WPA radius authentication working from my laptop to my
home network with the laptop running Fedora Core 6 and the server
running freeRadius under CentOS 4.4 (freeradius-1.0.1-3.RHEL4.3). I'm
attempting to move my FC 6 boxes to CentOS 5 so I decided to pick on the
laptop first. Unfortunately, I neglected to backup /etc before doing
the CentOS 5 install (bad Dave, bad

ntlm_auth to AD with only ntlmv2 enabled failing
Hello,
We have samba 3.0.23 installed. We are using free radius to take
authentication requests from a nortel vpn server and using ntlm_auth
trying to authenticate users against AD.
This setup works fine when on the AD side ntlmv1 and ntlmv2 are enabled.
(IE. Users can authenticate).
However, when only ntlmv2 is enabled users are unable to authenticate.
I have searched various places and while

Oh, don't bother... really i was ''puzzled' by the sentences:
Ensure the server is added to AD with net ads join
so i supposed we are referencing a domain member (a domain controller
is ''joined by default'' to the domain...).

[PATCH] Fix ectest to not check a case which isn't guaranteed to work, and which we don't use.
When I removed the special case for EC_ILOG(0) in commit
06390d082dcdfa8addb3dde337543bc0f0ebae44, it broke ec_dec_uint() with _ft=1
(which should encode the value 0 using 0 bits).
This feature was tested by ectest.c, but not actually used by libcelt.
An assert has been added to ec_dec_uint() to ensure that we don't try to use
this feature by accident.
ec_enc_uint() was actually correct,

OpenSSH, Radius, PAM & NOUSER issue
Hi !
Sorry to bring back the infamous "NOUSER" in the conversation but I didn't get the workaround on that problem.
Firstly, I'm using :
- openssh-3.1p1-15 which is the version which comes by default with my Red Hat Linux Advanced Server release 2.1AS.
- I'm using PAM, set up to use radius. Please find below the /etc/pam.d/sshd file :

Re: 802.1x machine authentication patch help
I found my problem. From Andrew Bartlett himself "This is not supported
against NT4. Only Samba 3.0.21rc1 and AD support
this extra flag." To do machine authentication with freeradius, your
workstation (supplicant) and samba server must be a member of a
2000/2003 domain. I had the supplicant and samba server still a member
of the nt4 domain. Once I changed this, it worked great.

CELT 0.11.3 tandem test fails
Hello,
I'm building packages for Slackware and I've just tried to upgrade
Slackware 13.37's CELT package to version 0.11.3, which apparently was
released last year, but I've omitted it because it was not announced on
the site. Anyway, now that I try build with the following configuration
in my SlackBuild script:

ANI/DNIS call routing
Can someone in Asterisk'land subscribing to 800 service explain to me how to
setup extension.conf to route calls based on the incoming DNIS/ANI. For
example I want to route 3 incoming 800# coming across a trunk group to all
land in the same queue. So I guess I am asking how to perform DNIS/ANI based
call routing?

DNIS dropping digits.
I've got an E&M wink T1 into a Sangoma card, and it's dropping my DNIS
digits. I'm supposed to get four digits from the CO, and I reliably get
the first digit -- it's a crapshoot as to how many after the first I
get. I have overlapdial=yes and immediate=no.
Any other suggestions of things to tweak/try?
Thanks!

chan_capi setting ${DNIS}
Is there a reason the variable ${DNIS} does not get set with incoming
calls via chan_capi ?
Is it related to the MSN=X in capi.conf ?

DNIS on T1 channels
I installed a Sangoma card with the default install. I'm getting five digits
of DNIS with each call. The T1 is setup ESF/B8ZS wink start. Each of the
digits of the DNIS are being used for extensions in the context. I need a
single extension that let me start an AGI script that can use the dnis.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to do this?
Thanks,

Turning off DNIS on T1 set to FXO_LS protocol
Hello everyone,
Our company has an Asterisk server where one of the T1s is connected to
an IVR. Asterisk is configured for FXO Loopstart, and the IVR is
configured FXS.
We can call into it, but our software doesn't expect DNIS digits on FXS,
and the digits are being interpreted as user input.
We can certainly change our software accordingly, but our test bed also
includes other
