deliver is curious
Hi, Im' using deliver with postfix (mailbox_command = /usr/lib/dovecot/deliver -n -m "$EXTENSION"). In dovecot.conf I've set mail_location to maildir:/var/spool/imap/users/%u/Maildir It works, but not for ONE "special" email. If I send mail to e.g. th at trg-oha.de it gets correctly delivered (see noerror.txt), but I have one mail with an attachment (i cannot

Autocomplete - setting a second value?
I''m using the autocomplete function, and need a way to grab a second value from the ajax request... an example would probably speak better: This is my HTML: <input name="CustomerName" id="CustomerName" type="text" /> <div id="CustomerList"></div> <input name="CustomerID" id="CustomerID"

Clients no longer updating DNS & unable to delete MX records
Hello, After noticing some odd behavior on my domain, I realized that many of my DNS records are incorrect and that clients are no longer properly updating DNS. While looking into this, I also discovered that I am unable to delete MX records via AD DNS Manager or samba-tool. Both tools "see" the record but report it does not exist when I attempt to delete it. I can create new MX

Incoming side of SIP trunk does not work unless I add "insecure=very"
The incoming (Class 5 switch to Asterisk PBX) side of a SIP trunk does not work unless I add "insecure=very" to my "Outgoing settings", but I don't want to do that. I do want to authenticate. Outgoing (Asterisk PBX to Class 5 switch) calls do authenticate and work. The Nortel CS 1500 I'm using as the PSTN-side of my SIP trunk has a username and password that it's

PMTU Discovery
Dear Guus, while improving the PMTU Discovery algorithm, I found the following behavior in the method "send_udppacket": 1) The code checks, whether the data size is smaller than the MTU, thus if it fits into a single UDP packet. If not, you send the packet via TCP. 2) The data is compressed, changing its size. (Usually, making it smaller, but that's not always

PMTU Discovery Question
Hi Guus, while checking the source code, I stumbled upon PMTU Discovery. I've got a question regarding the process of sending/receiving PMTU packets. As I understand, the packet flow is like this: 1 .Tinc creates a packet with a specific payload length to send it as an PMTU probe. (The data part is just some random bytes.) 2. This packet gets compressed and sent

PJSIP Originate
I am using AMI Originate to perform a new outbound call. The SIP Provider we send the call to wants us to pass the caller id of the person we are calling for in the Contact header. For the AMI Originate, I pass the caller id information data in the CallerID field. However, this is never being passed through the PJSIP INVITE header Action: Originate ActionID: S598 Channel: PJSIP/133 at 1002

Timeout while waiting for shared lock for index file /var/mail/XXX/Maildir/dovecot.index
Hello, I'm using dovecot v1.0rc23 for about 500 users since february with no particular problems. I'm using Maildir format and ldap authentication. A recently added user can't check his mails any more. In the logs I get May 23 14:35:58 mailsrv deliver(XXXX): [ID 702911 mail.error] Timeout while waiting for shared lock for index file /var/mail/XXXX/Maildir/dovecot.index The user

Update second pulldown menu based on first menu selection?
I know I''ve seen this somewhere on this board and just can''t search it anymore. I have three relational tables: clients, projects, and tasks. Currently I''m working on customizing the ''new/edit'' task _form. So far I have it listing clients in a pulldown menu so I can assign the new task to a client. I''d like to have a second pulldown select

Merging maildirs
Hi List How do I merge files from one maildir into another maildir? Long version: I've been using dovecot/postfix for a 12 user environment for several years, and today was the first time I ran into an issue I could not solve from reading the documentation. The server is gentoo running on esxi. A few times a year I've made a snapshot of the server and copied the files to my home esxi

My god, it full of "CLOSE_WAITS"
Hello samba people. I am having a odd problem related to winbindd. When I leave it running overnight on a quiet (not silent however) server I find that it generates a large number of CLOSE_WAIT state connections. 84 on a fairly quiet system in the last 18 hours. I can't seem to find any command that directly affects the number of CLOSE_WAITS. Below is my netstat listing. Any ideas would

PMTU - ICMP type 3/subtype 4 on 2.4.x
Hello, I try to set up my Linux 2.4.x system to respond by "ICMP Destination Unreachable message" subtype 4 ("fragmentation needed and DF set") in order to support the Path MTU Discovery (RFC 1191) as a router. There is any /proc/xxx parameter to do this? Thanks Mugur _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list LARTC@mailman.ds9a.nl
