Hi everyone! In my new CentOS 4.0 (final ;-) I installed apache and activates SELinux, When I tried to enter a page of some user (localhost/~user) said to me that she did not have permissions to see it, and this was incorrect, because the permissions was 755 (/home/user/html). After awhile it was happened to me to deactivate selinux and I reinitiated the machine and I work! Somebody knows why

rsync-2.5.6 build on Red Hat 8.0 fails
The packaging/lsb/rsync.spec file is broken as shipped: It has a "Sept" month (rpmbuild here takes only 3-letter month names), and RH gzips the manpages, so the %files list can't find them. I also added doc/README-SGML and doc/rsync.sgml to the %doc files. Patch follows. Thanks for all the good work! --- rsync-2.5.6/packaging/lsb/rsync.spec.orig 2003-01-28 06:28:35.000000000 +0100

Hi everybody, I need to setup a couple of new servers with RAID 1 & another with RAID 5, witch card will have built in support (no need for drivers). It can be for ATA or SATA drives (any preference on ATA or SATA ?). I'm looking for a PCI card , or a motherboard with built in card. I been looking at the : 1. SCO/Linux concerns
Hello Since I am getting a bit concerned about the SCO vs IBM issue, I was wondering if can I can setup Asterisk on FreeBSD is it supported ? Are drivers for Digium cards available on FreeBSD ? SS7 signaling/Softswitch
I'm confused a bit about the following and was hoping to get some answers on this group - What is exactly implied when we say asterisk can connect to a PSTN. Does it mean connecting to the PSTN via PRI/T1/E1? If yes, then I assume asterisk does not need to do any SS7 signaling and all it does (playing the role of a PBX) is to connect to a Class 5 Switch at the CO. Is this a correct statement?

as.Date(Inf) displays as 'NA' but is actually 'Inf'
Hi Gabriel, The point is that it *visually* displays as NA, but is.na() still responds as FALSE. When I (and I am sure many people) see an NA, we then use is.na(). If we see Inf displayed, we then use is.infinite(). With as.Date() this breaks down. I'm not arguing that as.Date(Inf) should be coerced to NA. I'm arguing that as.Date(Inf) should be *visually* displayed as Inf (i.e. the
