Hello All, I encountered the same problem as reported to this list earlier, http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-stable/2009-February/048305.html, but then with 7.1-RELEASE-p4. Interestingly enough, FreeBSD booted fine on the machine installed (updated from 7.0 to 7.1-RELEASE-p4). This machine is a PowerEdge 1850 bios A04 with Perc 43/Si bios H430 / fwVer 521S. Poweredge 2850 with LSI Logic / Symbios Logic 53c1030 PCI-X Fusion-MPT Dual Ultra320 SCSI
Did anyone manage to have xen (3.0.1 stable) run on this config? (this is on FC4 if it matters). I''ve tried recompiling the xen0 kernel with the Fusion options from my current kernel added, but it keeps removing some of them (maybe some that didn''t exist yet in kernel 2.6.12), and it seems I end up without the correct driver. If someone has this running, I''d be

Running Asterisk on a Dell PowerEdge 2850 ServerRe: Dell Hardware
It's Digium, not Dell. I have two identical Dell 1850s, each with the allegedly offensive built-in E100 Ethernet ports. I placed a TE410P card in each. One worked great, the other would not modprobe. Upon examination, we discovered that the two TE410P cards had different firmware revisions. Turns out the one with the older version was the one that worked. We sent the second card back

[HELP] - Sound cutting and dropping out - 1.2.7.1/Sangoma/PowerEdge 2850
Hi all, We are running Asterisk 1.2.7.1 on our Dell Poweredge 2850 and are having massive sound quality issues. We are experiencing call quality issues for our remote location, namely calls cutting out and breaking up for our agents. The two main issues seem to be 'popping' and 'dropping' - popping would be pops and crackles on the line, where dropping would be complete audio

Very slow download with pxelinux > 4.07 on specific hardware
Yes on optiplex 790 i upgraded from A07 to A18 (there was a nic upgrade) but it didn't change anything.. On optiplex 380 i upgraded from bios A01 to A07(don't know if upgrade contained pxe or not)... I tried, lpxelinux.0 and it wasn't faster. Only v4.07 helped on these machines. Tomorrow, i will give a try with 6.03pre2. In wireshark, i saw no errors, the packet length was the

Very slow download with pxelinux > 4.07 on specific hardware
I did some additional tests : On a dell optiplex 380, i disabled internal nic, added a 3com 905c tx external pci nic : very slow too. On a dell 740(which is always fast), i put the 3com to be sure : very fast. So it seems it is not related to the nic itself. To be sure it wasn't just one failing computer i tested several 380. I tried disabling several features in bios, like Execute

Dell PowerEdge 2850 / Xen / Windows 2003 / Debian
Hi, recently I came across a deal on a bunch of Dell PowerEdge 2850 servers and I was hoping to use them to run Debian with Xen to provided virtualization support for Windows 2003 and other Debian installations. I was hoping to install 2 copies of Windows 2003 as well as 2 copies of Debian all on top of the DOM0 Debian installation. The servers have dual 3.2ghz CPU''s and include 16GB

Dell PowerEdge 2850
Hello, Digium uses the Dell PE 2850 for their testing. This site says that 3.3V PCI slot. http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+hardware We are planning on purchasing a Dell PE 2850 and putting a TE205P card on it. However, the needs a 5V PCI slot. Does Dell PE 2850 has a 5V PCI slot? A person in our group tried to call Dell's customer support but they do not seem to know.

Dell and pxelinux keyboard problems
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I am having trouble with one Dell system and pxelinux: The keyboard does not properly work. The computer boots, I press F12 to select the boot device, then I select the network card. Up to that point the keyboard works fine. Then pxelinux is booted, and I use menu.c32 to display a menu (or vesamenu.c32 - same result). Now the keyboard does not

[Intel-gfx] v3.17, i915 vs nouveau: possible recursive locking detected
We need ww mutexes and need to rewrite i915 a bit fo fix this all. I.e. known issue. As long as your userspace isn't nasty nothing bad will ever happen though. -Daniel On Mon, Oct 13, 2014 at 08:40:33PM +0200, Marcin ?lusarz wrote: > ============================================= > [ INFO: possible recursive locking detected ] > 3.17.0 #50 Not tainted >
