I've visited several web pages, including Dell's, for help in getting the wireless card activated. lspci shows it, but iwconfig doesn't list it. I also visited linux.dell.com and downloaded and installed the 64-bit Fedora 7 RPMs, but couldn't get anywhere. dellwirelessctl also doesn't show up anywhere. I'm running a fully updated kernel/distro. What am I missing?

Hello all, I compiled the kernel with the xen patch and I seam to have trouble with some kernel modules, like ATI''s proprietary driver. The system seams considerably slower than before, this might be because of the video drivers, or maybe the RAM alocated to dom0 (512Mb instead of it''s usual 1Gb). Hi, My wife has a new ASUS laptop with an Intel 3945 wireless card. I'm running CentOS 5 on all our desktops here (at work and at home), and I'm quite happy with it. I had a partial success in configuring the wireless card. Basically I'm using [base], [updates], [extra] and [rpmforge] repos, configured with the yum-priorities plugin. Priority 10 for RPMForge, 1 for the others.
