piranha lvsd "cluster" status: how?
Hi,
I've got a couple of machines acting as directors with service=lvs
Is there something similar to 'clustat' for pulse+lvsd?
I need this in order to make our monitorization scripts "cluster-aware",
or else one node will have critical status when there are less nannies
than it expected because the services ran over to the other node.
Thanks in advance,
Rui

Best way to calculate concurrent users?
Well, i am having some problens to figure out how many concurrent users into
the server!
In my envoriment now, most people are using the webmail interface, and it
just conect and disconct pretty quickly so i can not get it with "doveadm
who"
doveadm who only gets the ones that are connect with clients.
O use ipvs to balance betwaeen 2 servers does anyone have an ideia ?

Port forwarding from dom0 to bridged domU with IPVS
Hi list,
We, an OSS advocacy group, setup a Xen 3.1 machine composed of :
. a 64 bits dom0 running Debian stable amd64
. 2 hvm domUs running OpenBSD amd64
. 2 hvm domUs running NetBSD i386
This machine is to be hosted and reachable from the Internet, but it will
only have one public IP.
Naturally, our first tought was to port-forward using iptables /
netfilter. We didn''t really

Some cert problem
Bunch of weird stuff after a power failure here this morning. One of my
virtual servers, managed through puppet, seems to not be talking to the
master any more. And I can''t get it to reconnect. I did puppetca --clean
on the master, cleaned off certs on the client, started puppetd manually
on the client, and got this:
sh-3.2# rm -rf /var/lib/puppet/ssl/
sh-3.2# puppetd --server

Setting Up LVS to Load Balance DNS
Greetings, all:
OS: CentOS 6.4 x86_64
Kernel: 2.6.32-358.14.1
I could use some assistance with setting up pulse to load balance my dns
servers. I've configured tcp and udp port 53 with the piranha gui, set up
arptable rules on the real servers and added the virtual ip to the bond0
interface on the real servers, but I'm still having no luck in getting
things going. A dig against the

centos 5.1 fresh install of ipvsadm: service won't start: config missing
Hello all,
I have ipvsadm-1.24 installed, and there's an error when the service starts:
Applying IPVS configuration: /etc/init.d/ipvsadm: line 62:
/etc/sysconfig/ipvsadm: No such file or directory
is the install broken? I did a "yum whatprovides ipvsadm" and it does
say there's a config, but doesn't point to where it is.
any suggestions?

Re: IPMASQ and lock-up of all terminals ---- Sum mary and update
Well, last night, my box was hit again.. same symptoms:
All attempts to connect remotely receive a connection, but a login prompt
never comes up.
When I went to the console and turned on the monitor, I had the login
prompt, but written on to the screen was the message
IPMASQ: Reverse ICMP: Checksum error from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
So, on this occasion, I thought I would post a summary of the

Centos 4.4 ipvsadm problem
Hi All,
Using CentOS 4.4 with ipvsadm-1.24-6.
I am using LVS/ipvsadm to load balance webservers, with about 20 VIP's
in use.
My problem is that when I start the pulse service, all of the interfaces
seem to appear
correctly in the output of ipvsadm -ln , but it is not possible to
connect to them.
I discovered that the ones I _CAN_ connect to appear in the full
ifconfig listing, while
