I'll try again using my subscribed address... Apologies to the moderators... --- Hi All, I've successfully got SIP and IAX2 working on Asterisk using X-Lite as a SIP phone and talking to a remote Asterisk over IAX2 using G729. I'm now trying to get an ISDN BRI connection working. I have a Traverse NetJet card (http://www.traverse.com.au/) which I currently have working with

Dag mirror, yum and repomd.xml!
Hi: I have a mirror of dag repository (http://apt.sw.be/redhat/el4/en/i386/dag/) in my intranet which is used by other servers to install/update rpms. I installed on every remote server the rpmforge rpm, edit the /etc/yum.repos.d/rpmforge.repo to fit with my intranet mirror, but when I run yum, I get this error: #yum -c rpmforge.repo search nagios Warning, could not load sqlite, falling back to

I wanted to install the rpmforge-release package on a new install and get the following. Do others have the same problem? b51:~ rpm -ivvvvvvvh http://packages.sw.be/rpmforge-release/rpmforge- release-0.3.6-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm Retrieving http://packages.sw.be/rpmforge-release/rpmforge-release-0.3.6- 1.el5.rf.i386.rpm D: ... as /var/tmp/rpm-xfer.qQEt9n D: failed to open

IAX2 * -> * handoff
Hey All, I am setting up a network of Asterisk servers using IAX2. I am wondering if it is possible to disable the handoff feature? At the moment I have 4 asterisk machines, 3 are at SOHO offices and 1 is centrally hosted in a data centre. In addition the central machine has an IAX2 link to a VOIP provider (and might be set up with more in the future). All calls are routed through that

Cacti rpm for el5.6 with php53
Hello, Does someone know if there's a cacti rpm available that works (=installs and doesn't conflict) when "php53" rpm is installed, instead of the older "php" rpm ? cacti rpms from rpmforge/dag have these requirements: php php-mysql php-snmp So those cacti versions conflict with "php53". I checked cacti-0.8.7g-2.el5.rf -- Pasi

yum can't connect to mirrors
Hello, I added rpmforge yum repo to my yum config and then the box couldn't connect to fetch updates. I added enabled=0 to rpmforge.repo as well as add-ons, contrib, and centosplus, but i'm still getting mirror errors. I believe i've got some file corruption somewhere, but i don't see where. I can't even fetch packages in updates now, keep getting connection refused

Festival Issues
Hey All, I now have Festival compiled, installed and running using the instructions on the Wiki page. When I try to change the voice that is being used however, I am running into a problem. I get the following in the festival server log: Cannot open file /tmp/est_10877_00000/utt.wav as tokenstream Wave load: can't open file "/tmp/est_10877_00000/utt.wav" Cannot load wavefile:

mediawiki-1.4.7-1.2.el4.rf.i386.rpm requirements.
Guys, I'm migrating an internal Mediawiki over to a new CentOS 4 system. The old server's running FC3 and has a tarball install, ideally I want to stick to properly packaged software as far as possible. Festival Installation - Asterisk 1.0-RC2 && Debian Woody
Hey All, Thought I'd take a bash at trying to get Festival to work here on my lab system with the aim of using it to create our IVR menu prompts. I've spent most of the afternoon searching through the Wiki, the Festival website and Google and I've got a couple of questions. First one is that the 'Asterisk+festival+installation' page on the Wiki mentions the RedHat 9 RPMs

Mixing RPMforge and EPEL (Was: EPEL repo)

nvidia dual monitor setup centos howto
I had some trouble setting up dual monitors on centos with an nvidia card. I managed to track stuff down, so I thought I'd make it public on the list. I have an nvidia quadro nvs 290 in a Dell, recently installed centos5. Same stuff should apply for other nvidia cards. I needed nvidia-x11-drv.x86_64. It is available from rpmforge. Installing rpmforge is described on this

OT rpmforge rpm is not putting Dag repo info in yum.conf
I should change this to OT, as it's not really CentOS related. I had a post on the list last week asking how the rpmforge rpm was to be implemented in yum. Craig White was kind enough to list how his yum.conf is appended, I assume after he installed the rpm. Unfortunately, mine is not appended with these lines. I am running CentOS 3. I will add these lines manually, and probably remove

sFTP (client) RPM for CentOS 5.3 (32 bit) and/or putty-tools
I installed gFTP but apparently it does not handle the sFTP protocol. I also installed the FireFTP Add On for the Firefox browser, but when I tried to connect to the server, it says that I need putty-tools. I have the rpmforge and epel repositories configured but yum did not find putty-tools. Is there an RPM for a client program for gFTP or putty-tools? If so, in which repository? TIA! 1443

yum cannot find bittorent rpm at dag
I am trying to get the x86_64 isos of CentOS-5.2. I wish to use bittorrent. The last time that I did this I required the bittorent package from Dag's repository. I have configured /etc/yum.repos.d/DagWieers.repo thus: [dag] name=Dag Wieers RPM Repository for Red Hat Enterprise Linux #Also see URL http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/

rpmforge.repo
How come rpmforge.repo wants to install a whole slew of perl modules, yet if I leave rpmforge.repo out of the update process, none of the perl modules shows up? Here's the rpmforge.repo file.. do any of yall see anything wrong with anything in there? sox rpm for el5?
I believe I used to pull sox for el5 from dag's site, but it doesn't appear to be there anymore. Nor on rpmforge, atrpms, epel. Does any (trusted/reliable) repo out there have sox built for el5? I started a rebuild of fedora-12 version, but it's a pretty major dependency hell. johnny

yum --import of RPMforge
Using the instructions on: http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/Repositories/RPMForge#head-f0 c3ecee3dbb407e4eed79a56ec0ae92d1398e01 I enter the command: rpm --import http://apt.sw.be/RPM-GPG-KEY.dag.txt and it comes back to the prompt, like it worked, but attempting to confirm the download: rpm -K rpmforge-release-0.5.2-2.el6.rf.*.rpm results in: error:
