GeForce 6150SE: DVI-connector not detected
Hi, today I tested kernel 2.6.33 and it seems that nouveau doesn't detect the DVI-connector of my GeForce 6150SE (Asus M2N-VM DH). The screen turns black during boot-process immediately after the "[drm] nouveau ..." messages appeared. The board has two connectors (DVI + VGA) and I'm using the DVI-connector only. Everything is fine when I use a VGA-cable instead. See boot.msg

XORG and LCD Projector
dear guys, I have a problem between my CentOS 5.5 (on Axioo notebook) and LCD Projector. When I connect my notebook to LCD Projector, it can detect my notebook. But when I press Fn + F7 to activate dual monitor between my notebook and LCD Projector it goes to blank screen. FYI, the LCD Projector is NEC but I don't know the series. I've tried to change display using dual head monitor but

I'm waiting to see if my current monitor actually dies. It's an Asus 1920x1200 monitor that I like rather a lot, but it occasionally acts a bit flaky when coming back out of sleep mode. VGA connectors fail to work with i915 & 3.10.0-693.21.1.el7.x86_64 kernel
Everyone, A while back I reported problems with the Intell i915 video driver in an ASUS mother board. I never found a solution, but did find a work around. It is apparent that when the VGA cable is connected during boot time the screen becomes blank and does not allow a login, but if the vga cable is disconnected and the DVI connector on the video screen and motherboard are used everything

Activate DVI-I behind KVM on FX 5200
Hi folks, I don't seem to be able to enable the DVI-I output of an old FX 5200 behind a KVM switch. Autodetection works fine if the FX 5200 DVI output is switched to the monitor, but when it is not, I have not found a way to force-enable it. Here is what I tried: *) used the video=DVI-I-1:1280x1024-24 at 60e kernel parameter (framebuffer still sits at 1024x768) *) used "options

Xen VGA Passthrough - GTX 680 successfully hard-moded to GRID K2
Hi Gordan, I wanted to let you know that today I decided to have a try for my GTX 680. Gigabite GTX 680 2048 MB GDDR5. I know that this particular card could be hard-moded to GRID K2 so VGA passthrough could work. Following instructions found on http://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/hacking-nvidia-cards-into-their-professional-counterparts/420/ I just removed two resistors. Here is a screenshot
