finding mysql.h & errmsg.h on CentOS?
I am not sure how to modify the config.h script for my CentOS 4.5 box (running Nagios + NDOutils). NDOutils seem to compile fine (./configure && make), but I'm having problems when I try to run the final command in the README file. ********* problems *************************** ndo2db-2x -c /etc/nagios/ndo2db.cfg Support for the specified database server is either not yet

Hi Sahana I must admit I'm not an expert in Theora. But the error message "Could not set keyframe interval to 64" might indicate that an attempt to set the keyframe frequency failed. Have a look at the keyframe_granule_shift attribute in the th_info struct. It says: The maximum distance between key frames is 1<<keyframe_granule_shift. So I could imagine that the error might

Hi all, I am working on Libtheora. I have built the libtheora, libogg and libvorbis static libraries in vc++6. I'm testing the encoder for theora. I'm running tests on the encoder_example and i get the following errors in command prompt. C:\Users\Vista Business\Desktop\sahana\libtheora-1.1.1\theora\testbench\Debug>te stbench.exe -v 10 -o chk.ogv god.wav example.y4m-1 File god.wav is

trouble with data frame
Hi everyone, I am trying to use the values from every cell of the data frame in a further calculation. This is the code that I am using to catch every element of the data-frame. while (a<=10) { while (b<=10) { n<-as.numeric(df[a,b)]; ...; } } The problem is that when I print out 'n' I get the following errors : "NULL" (if printed without as.numeric), and

[LLVMdev] MmapAllocator
Hi Steven- Nice, but will this not break Windows? From an initial glance over your patch, it seems to assume the existence of mmap() in some form or other. [LLVMdev] MmapAllocator
Hi folks, I've been doing work on memory reduction in Unladen Swallow, and during testing, LiveRanges seemed to be consuming one of the largest chunks of memory. I wrote a replacement allocator for use by BumpPtrAllocator which uses mmap()/munmap() in place of malloc()/free(). It has worked flawlessly in testing, and reduces memory usage quite nicely in Unladen Swallow. The code is available

Libtheora
Hi all, I am Sahana. I am currently working on Libtheora for windows platform and very new to it. I am getting a lot of compiling errors. Since Libtheora depends on libogg and libvorbis i have added these as well to my workspace in VC++ 6. I have a doubt regarding the x86 and x86_vc folders described in the libtheora software.Since both these folders have the same set of files which one do we

Red Hat commercial support for CentOS/Fedora
Someone told me that if you have a CentOS or Fedora server, you can pay a Red Hat yearly fee and get them to support it (because the environments are so similar). Can anyone here substantiate this claim? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... high performance open source DHCP solution?
The free DHCP solution, ISC, seems to be having scaling issues (i.e. handling only about 200 DHCPDISCOVER and 20 DHCPRENEW requests), and I was wondering if anyone had any open source suggestions of solutions that could scale much better? (Ideally, I could find a free version of a solution like Nominum, but I know that's asking for much.) Anyone have any suggestions? -- Also on LinkedIn??

Requesting help with lattice again
Hello, this is a request for assistance that I submitted earlier, this time with the dataset. My mistake for taking up bandwidth. I've also rephrased the question to address an additional concern. I'm working on a windows XP machine with R 2.8.1 1). I'd like a barchart (or other lattice type display) HSI ~ of the three factors (Region, Scenario and HydroState). However

CentOS serial questions (Hyperterminal equiv and connecting to server via Hyperterminal)
I have two serial-related questions (1) What is the CentOS (or *nix) equivalent of Hyperterminal in Windows? Sometimes I'm on a CentOS box and need to, say, console into a Cisco or something. and (2) I have a CentOS server that I may need to transport somewhere and will most likely *not* want to carry around the monitor. Where should I look in connecting to my server via a serial
